UPDATE: I received the refund and I greatly appreciate it, but we will not be going back!
I originally went to eat there but decided on placing a to go order since I only had1 hour of lunch and i had already wasted 15 minutes getting there. The food looks wonderful in pictures but its NASTY I got the El primo* plate and the chilaquiles are bitter and the molletes had basically no beans on them. The orange juice was also very bitter and watered down. Tampico orange juice tastes better than this if I'm being honest. When placing my order they had 2 pieces of flan in the display and I purchased 1. you would think they would put it aside for you for when your order is ready but they don't. They told me it would be 15 or 20 minutes for my food and drinks to be ready and asked me to wait in the car. so I waited 30 MINUTES and nothing I ended up waiting 50 minutes for a to go order. When I asked if they had an idea of when my food would be ready they told me in just a few minutes it had already been over 30 minutes later than when the told me! When I asked about the Flan after my food came out they just said oh we don't have anymore BUT YOU DID WHEN I PURCHASED IT! They gave me a partial refund for the flan that i had already paid for in cash I'm guessing they don't want to pay the fee that the credit card machine charges for refunds. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. While I was there they gave away a lady's table that had been waiting for over an hour and told her that she should have said something before they gave the table away. HOW if you make people wait in the cars. MANAGEMENT PLEASE CONTACT ME! I WANT MY $60 BACK this was a terrible experience! PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF THE TIME, AND HEAD ACHE OF THIS PLACE. GO SOME WHERE ELSE THATS CHEAPER WITH BETTER FOOD AND BETTER...
Read moreI kept seeing this place on my Google Maps and I must say that I tried it for the 1st time and I will not be back. This place is extremely over rated and if you decide to come pack a lunch!! On this particular day there was only one waitress and by the looks of it only one cook...SMH!!! The cook LOVES CUMIN, so if you're a cumin lover this is your spot. My wife ordered enchiladas de pollo with mole sauce and she got folded tortillas dipped in red sauce with cream and 2 drumsticks on the side 🤔. I got a caldo de res in a bird bath full of cumin...like it didn't taste like caldo de res. To be honest I wasn't satisfied with anything not even the table we sat at. That damn table was ALOT lower than the other tables and I had to keep slouching over to eat my caldo. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know and for the prices of this food to me is not worth it especially when they bring out your food 1 plate at a time. Take a look at the plates that we got served it does not look like the ones on Google maps.... I'm very...
Read moreI forgot to take pictures of the food but my gosh was it delicious home made authentic I felt like I was eating my grandmas home made food! We started off with complementary soporta de fideo and a fried taco de papa. We didn’t know that was going to come since we ordered the molcajete salsa made in the actual volcanic stone at the table with the roasted tomatoes chiles and garlic and salt 10/10 it comes with 3 large quesadillas then I ordered the Cochinita Pibil and it tasted like when I go to Yucatán only thing I would ask for more Avacado but it comes with rice picketed onions and homemade flour or corn tortillas and the aguas frescas are truly freshly made at the moment but sooo worth it and very large 4 cups worth so definitely your able to share will definitely make the drive out here to eat again! Thank you Lulu for the great customer service and salsa made at the table we really thought they were just gonna blend it in the blender and serve it in the molcajete but it was a...
