Honestly disappointed with Luigi’s, was my go to pizza place but I’ve been wronged by them three times in a row. First time was when axel rad had a RBD event, I was literally unable to park or physically get my pizza and I asked them for credit for a pizza at a later time; I called them instantly so it wasn’t like the pizza was made. As a matter of fact they told me my pizza would take a long time since they were so busy but refused to give me a credit; they’re usually a bit rude there but I always just think it’s bc they’re so busy so that’s fine but none of the workers are nice. Recently my door dash orders have been awful. They never seem to have lasagana which is fine but man they do not let you know and go as far as “confirming and preparing” order without telling you until your order arrives to your home (I have all my receipts to prove they never attempted to notify me or door dash) Last item I got was a Philly cheesesteak and it was the worst ever. Bread was way to hard and toasted (not fresh at all) I had to add Mayo lettuce green peppers and onion at home to make it edible because it straight up was just hard bread with dry cheese and dry meat. Unfortunately never will be giving Luigi’s my business and will forever let everyone know my experience whenever people go to axel rad. Oh! Also the pizza is alright but they just place toppings on your pizza they don’t actually bake it like that so all the toppings will fall right off. ** I do not want anyone from that place to reply and ask me to email, I never want anything to do with that business and nothing will make it right. Unless you change your entire Philly cheesesteak recipe and make it edible.

So Luigi's Pizza is definitely higher up on the top 10 Houston Pizza restaurants. Since grading pizza is so subjective I have applied a little structure to "Pizza Thursday" that helps YOU make up your own mind about this establishment. The grading is 1-5... with 5 being the best or most. Crust Thickness - 2 moderately thin, but perfect NY style crust Crust Flavor - 5 tasty with perfect shape and edge Cheese amount and elasticity - 5 had proper amout of stretch and well proportioned Topping quantity - 5 excellent quantity and dispersion Sauce Quantity - 2 perfect for NY style pizza and just enough for what I like Sauce Flavor - 5 very nice Atmosphere Cleanliness - 5 simple pizza joint, nothing special or polished.. good music and if you're inside there are a half of a dozen tables and a tv to watch Atmosphere noise level - 5 very quiet and easy to have a conversation Day After - 4 it kept well and was still really good. Comments: overall I grade Luigi's at a solid 4.5 out of 5. The only downside was the side salad I ordered. The Styrofoam box was too small to properly add dressing and mix without making a mess. But don't let that deflect from the pizza... The Alameda location is perfect for sit down as well as take-out. There was a soda fountain and dessert choices as well. With Axelrad next door, and just adjacent to the HCC campus I'm sure they do a good pizza by the slice business for lunch (very affordablepizza by the slice). The Pizza was very good, and worthy of return visits. I grabbed a menu for delivery as well since it's only a few blocks from home.

Luigi's Pizzeria is a culinary haven for pizza enthusiasts, offering an extensive menu that caters to every craving. From delectable wings to mouthwatering pizza and satisfying calzones, this restaurant boasts a variety that promises to tantalize your taste buds. The Margherita pizza, with the delightful addition of chicken, was a culinary masterpiece. The crust achieved that perfect balance between crispiness and doughy goodness, providing a sturdy foundation for the medley of flavors that followed. The simplicity of the Margherita combined with the savory twist of chicken made each bite a journey into pizza perfection. But Luigi's is not just about pizza; their wings are a showstopper. Whether you prefer them saucy or crispy, the variety of wing options ensures there's something for every palate. The wings are a testament to the kitchen's commitment to delivering not just a meal but a memorable dining experience. The calzone, another gem on the menu, showcases Luigi's versatility. Stuffed with savory goodness, the calzone is a handheld delight that brings together all the elements of a satisfying meal in each bite. In conclusion, Luigi's Pizzeria is a go-to destination for a culinary adventure. The wide variety of menu options, from wings to pizza and calzones, caters to diverse preferences. Whether you're a pizza purist or someone seeking bold flavor combinations, Luigi's delivers on all fronts. Each dish is a testament to their dedication to quality and a commitment to making every dining experience truly amazing.

I AM HIGHLY UPSET! They only got a two star rating because I like the pizza. I usually am able to breeze through after I order, and go next door to Axelrad (they have awesome hammocks outside where u can relax with your adult beverage). Today there was a little wait, which I’m not opposed to doing for some good food, but the cashier decided to skip us in the line for someone else that they were friends with and then lied about it when I asked! First, I heard the guy in the front of me while they were ordering with the cashier on the phone telling their friend directions how to get here. Then, the girl who was on the other end of the phone came in with 2 other people and walked to her friend who was ordering in front of me. I asked the cashier if she was on the same ticket as the guy who ordered before me and he lied and said yes! He blatantly lied to me. We had already been waiting behind the guy with his group to order in front of us. Then someone who wasn’t even in the building came in and skipped the 5 people already waiting in a line. I mentioned it to the cashier and he proceeded to take her order, which included her ordering for the other 2 people that she came in with! If I wasn’t hungry I would have left but honestly the worst customer service. Did I mention that he had to have known the girl as well? They did a cute little handshake that obviously meant they knew each other. I don’t care if they were best friends, family or lovers! This is a place of business and it should be conducted as such. The female, who the cashier allowed to skip us, and her other 2 friends she came in with should have waited in the line behind the 5 of us that were waiting before she ever stepped into the building.

UPDATE: I spoke to the manager and she understood my concern and said that she would handle...

No guys. This is dumb. The hammocks seem like a fun idea but are truly dumb. The ground is dirt so if it has rained at all there will be mud and puddles. With bugs. Standing water with bugs in a serving area is a health code violation. We were recommended by a friend that was relying on reviews to help make a decision. They've been truly mislead. Pizza on flimbsy paper plates is not new York style pizza. The food came out to tables that were end tables. Too small to fit 1 plate 1 drink and 1 side of fries. The food came out at different times. Pizza slice first. Then fries then calzone for my date. By the time we could begin half the food was cold. We ordered the caprese slice as well as a meat calzone. The calzone was burned on the bottom and doughy on the inside. The meats were delicious. The also had gelato. Wasn't special gelato or anything just gelato. Yummy. The caprese pizza was fine. Crispy crust larger slices. Nothing special but good. Definetly not NY pizza. We found something in our dish that was definetly not edible. And harmful if ingested. A metal shard presumably from a preparation utensil. The manager compensated the dish. And offered product in return. Nice but the issue reflects the fundamentals of the business not an isolated customer experience. It is clear the establishment is more interested in hammocks and a natural backyard environment than customer safety. Proper seating and a simple expeditor solves many of the issues outlined. The lack of such is a deliberate business action. Some businesses local or not do it right. This I'd not...
