This is one of the worst McDonald's in the north side of Houston. They're just not come a time that I do not have a problem with these people.
They really don't care about the customers because there's so many problems everything from trying to understand what you're saying or you're not going to take your credit card but all of a sudden they want to only take cash. Every time I go there they have only Spanish-speaking women who have nothing but long lines and making us wait 30 minutes for something so simple.
How can they do this? How can they not have English-speaking employees at the drive-thru?
They had a female, old Spanish lady from Mexico working the drive-thru. And when I got to the delivery window after I paid I tried to communicate many times with this very same woman and she didn't understand what I was saying.
This is very frustrating because I've lived here in America and I only have this problem here in the Barrio. Why do I have to learn Spanish just because I want to come to my own countries restaurants and when I addressed this issue with the people here most likely the employees of McDonald's they act like they don't care.
And then they took 30 minutes to make me my order. I used to work for McDonald's and Kentucky Fried Chicken and you know what happens when this happen we gave free food to the customers who were waiting for us to prepare their food. But no, in this day and age from 1980s they don't understand what it means to serve customers in any way.
Now the borders are open and I have to deal with this... pretty soon I will have to take a language class just to communicate with foreigners who don't care about what we as Americans want when we come to an American Institution.
And so when I dress this issue would some Spanish young female all she could say was I'm sorry.
I am Mexican-American but I speak English I just hate that I have to struggle with these employees who don't give a damn about what we feel what we want. How is she going to know she got the order right or wrong if I ask her? How was she going to fix the order that was not correctly given after I pay money and it's early in the morning and people are waiting...
Read moreThe Good, The Bad, and The "not so good". Good: This Micky D's is definitely up to par on cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Also a step ahead of any previous fast food restaurants that I've visited by offering you three different ways to pay via, traditional point of sale at the counter, drive through and a newer digital touch screen offering two kiosks which only accept credit cards. With a substantial lobby room for patrons to sit and dine, there is hardly a wait time regardless of how busy it may be. Bad: Seemingly a melting pot for homeless, keeping your head on a swivel becomes an instant reaction as you approach the restaurant.
Not So good: I say this because although it seems like a good location to generate high volume foot traffic because of the Metro Rails loading and unloading dock right across the street, this also increases the pan-handlers, addicts, and "unfortunates'" flow of traffic on and off of the Metro rail. At times , a simple walk after unboarding the train will get a person a minimum of 2 to 3 people asking for change, cigarettes and/or food. Not to be alarmed, there is plenty of law enforcement patrolling the area. My suggestion would be to pay this McDonalds a visit. Maybe you can even help change someone's...
Read moreSome of the staff at this location are very rude. I deliver with DoorDash and most of the times I have went in there or went through the drive thru, they act like they don’t see me and then when I tell them I am picking up a door dash order it’s like I never said anything or they purposely don’t give me the food when I can see the order sitting on the counter. The screen above the pick up counter doesn’t work so you can’t go by that. I know there are quite a few places that are upset because some door dashers steal the food but I am not one of those dashers. I take pride in my work and want to satisfy my obligation to my customers with on time deliveries and hot food. I know that everyone is going through things but for them to be ugly multiple times makes me feel that they are being discriminatory towards me and probably other dashers. There are some really nice cashiers/staff but the ones that are being rude and inconsiderate hurt the establishment. Show more grace and less attitude towards...
