I decided to try this place on a whim and I was not disappointed! The corn dogs were made to order, the food was fresh, the taste was excellent, and the experience was refreshing. I tried the Totoro Korean corn dog with beef and cheddar, with the Totoro special sauce. My husband tried the potato dog with half beef and half moz. They were both perfectly crispy, mouthwatering, and the sauce was our favorite part; it had a sweet kick without being too spicy or taking away from the flavor of the dogs. I had a strawberry fruit tea with popping mango boba and sweet cream on top, and my husband had the Thai tea with sweet cream on top. They were light, refreshing, and not too sweet in my opinion. We then got a half dozen mochi donuts (Dubai chocolate, caramel churro, strawberry, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and pistachio) and we loved the ones we had room to try! They were fluffy, had a nice slight chew to them, and were easy to pull apart and share. They were naturally much more sweet than what weâd had so far, so we only tried 3 of the 6. We took the remaining three home to share.
The atmosphere is bright, cheerful, whimsical, and beautifully decorated. The restrooms are clean, comfortable, stocked, and limited to guests only (codes to the restroom are printed on the receipt for access.) The staff are friendly, accommodating, and great at giving recommendations.
You can also sign up via email or phone number to get points towards future purchases, which honestly would be worth it considering how great this place is.
The price is a smidge on the high end per item, but thatâs just the economy right now and itâs certainly reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.
Over all, I would rate this place 10/10 and wholeheartedly recommend this as a place to visit if youâre in the area. I believe they have a few locations around the Houston area if you canât try this location...
Read moreCute decor, friendly staffing, accessible board games, but ... the mochi donuts don't have the correct ratio of flours and there's not much "chew" to them, plus they weren't very fresh. We also grabbed a half&half dog but the cheese had an unappealing smell & tasted off, the breading was ok. We tried the popcorn chicken, but it was basically mini chicken nuggets with zero flavor, it was heavily processed and not at all what we've come to expect with korean popcorn chicken, there was no flavor, it wasn't legit meat and just not worth the price for mini chicken nuggets (we used the sweet chilli sauce from the dog to eat the nuggets). We loved the idea of having a dessert shop like this closer to home, but for great donuts, dogs & chicken we will continue to trek out to Bellaire & Katy. The tea isn't bad, but I still don't understand why shops around here upcharge for a...
Read moreMy experience was very bad, the cashier named Ben spoke to me in a very sarcastic and rude way, I asked him if the fries with cheese and bacon were spicy and he said no but if they were spicy my child didnât hear him eat it, then I asked him if he had a strawberry smoothie and he said no and I asked him again and he said âoh yeah of course we have itâ but he looked at me in a racist and mean way. The smoothie was delicious but the foam they put in it is very acidic and the corndogs have a lot of oil. Also when I went to pick up my food I was waiting for him to give me the smoothie and he said âwhat are you waiting for?â and I answered the smoothie, he said âwell sit down Iâll call you right now I havenât finished itâ and he seemed very...
