Nom Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

This is the best Donut shop I have ever been to. It is a major hidden gem and absolutely wipes the floor with places like Shipleys or Dunkin. The donuts here are so fluffy and soft that it feels as if you are biting into a cloud especially if you get them fresh, but the true star of this show is their kolaches. I would eat these things for the rest of my life if I had the money. These things could without a doubt be a substitute for anti-depressants. That first bite into that buttery, pillowy bread is the absolute pinnacle of human achievement. I am at a loss for words on how I could possibly describe the downright awesomeness of these little pieces of heaven. If you don't come to this donut shop you will be missing out on all it is to be happy and I stand by that statement. Nothing has ever moved me as much as this place has. I hadn't been there in a couple months but I decided to treat myself one morning. I see a new face working behind the counter. Per usual I place my order... Or at least try to. Before I can finish my second work someone walks in behind me and the man working breaks eye contact and goes into a full on conversation with the woman behind me. I wait. Eventually the woman behind me tells him to help me. He does. However before he gives me my order he takes hers, puts it in the microwave has a conversation longer than the duration of the microwave, gives her her order, then seems tovmagically remember me.

I'm not sure if you're not to ask questions when it's your first time visiting a place. But I made the mistake of asking if the ice coffee was sweet and was given an attitude instantly. If you would have said we use a store bought ice coffee, ok? Thank you.
