I loved this place. However, they will try to cheat you if you order online and their customer service might leave you feeling a bit underwhelmed. My family and I went to this restaurant on the 7th for my birthday, loved it so much that on the 9th we decided to order online to have it delivered for dinner. Everything was tasty, but there was an issue with one of the steaks we ordered. We paid for a filet mignon but got a center cut tenderloin instead. I called them to let them know, not really wanting anything but to be compensated for the difference in price and spoke to a manager who first, instead of apologizing and asking what could be done, asked me if I could really TELL THE DIFFERENCE between a center cut tenderloin and a filet mignon. Because... I guess black people only know about chicken and ribs? We are so hell bent on getting things for free in fact that we'd call a place that we've paid nearly 300 dollars to within a 2 day period, JUST so we can sneakily get a refund for the price difference totaling somewhere around 15 bucks. DASTARDLY! I couldn't help but think to myself, "If I couldn't tell the difference between the two cuts...why would I have called??" Anyway, the result was us apparently getting a free steak which isn't what we asked for at all(I say apparently because they took my information down so I could tell them who I am whenever we decided to go back). They just all seemed so put out by me being able to tell the difference between the two cuts that it's led me to believe that this is something they must do to customers who pay for online delivery. They must assume that their customers are a bunch of uncouth knuckle draggers that order from Outback when they wanna feel "fancy". Long story short, we should have gone to Fleming's again this year instead of trying...
Read moreIf you're not a neuro divergent person, then ignore this review. If you are struggling with anxiety and being around other people, don't come for the lunch menu. You can hear every aggressively uncomfortable normal people conversation that everyone is having because there is not enough ambient noise. I was begging for a blender to go off so I wouldn't have to hear about a person I don't know is getting ruined by medical debt or how its the devils work to never exist for a second without working. The lunch menu kind of sucked. It's just a truncated dinner menu with 3 dollars shaved off, but also 1 less side. I got some steak and shrimp pasta that was off the new menu. Listen, I have had enough shitty food in my life to know that sauce came from a jar and the steak had that distinctive rot that meat gets when your too depressed to cook the food you bought and it gets a little too close to the expiration date. Dont order medium rare, these are quality enough cuts for that. My sever was very nice, probably the best part of the experience. He was a lot more excited about the new menu that I was. Staff in general seemed chill, it was the clientele that I found insufferable. If you aren't a business professional that came here for a work lunch to spend 50 dollars on cafeteria food and water down drinks, then...
Read moreThe woman at the bar needs to be replaced! Tonight, I sat at the bar. I usually don’t have a problem with getting food from other Outbacks at the bar, but it just seemed that the woman was inconvenienced by me sitting there. There were 6-7 others at the bar, but they had already been served. I sat there for about 5 minutes before she even acknowledged my presence. She took my drink order and served my beer just fine. I wanted to order some food, but she never asked me what I wanted to eat. After 5 minutes, another lady came in and sat at the bar opposite me. The “server” took her drink order, then served it. She then took her food order. When I asked if I could order some food, the “server” gave me a look of being inconvenienced and said, “what do you want?”. Even the man sitting to the left of me mentioned that it was a look that a server should never give to a customer. I told her, “Never mind, I forgot what I wanted” and finished my beer I talked to the manager. He comped my beer and apologized for her rude attitude. I’m not going...
