Base on all the positive reviews below, I decided to visit the place for some breakfast. I order the infamous Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes and the Apple Fritter French Toast. The Apple Fritter French Toast was mediocre. The bread was chewy and a bit overcooked in my opinion. Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes was very eye-catching on the menu, but I was a bit disappointed. The pancakes itself are pretty basic. You can get the same from other fast-food breakfast place like Ihop or even gas station. I expected to be high quality like at First Watch or Snooze. The dish has 5 components: lemon zest, whipped cream, blueberry, goat cheese and pancakes. The kitchen forgot 2 of it: lemon zest and whipped cream. Was it a big deal? sort of. I think the whipped cream and lemon zest can somewhat add a flavored light, airy texture and a touch of acidic to an overall boring pancakes. I informed the waitress about the missing components and finished up the French Toast. I asked for a to-go box to take the pancakes home and informed her again that the kitchen forgot whipped cream and lemon zest. Her response was "Oh, ok" as she handed me a box, a check and never return. This was during later afternoon with 2 tables occupied. Not during morning or afternoon breakfast rush.

Had one of the best breakfast/brunch meals today. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and my girlfriend ordered the Cinnamon French Toast. We also ordered a side of Potatoes. So to start, once I added some salt and pepper to my Crab Cake Benedict, it was absolutely unbelievable!! Wow!!...Also my side of grits was banging!! My girlfriend shared her side of bacon extra crispy with me, and it may have been the best bacon I've ever eaten. The side of Potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her Cinnamon French Toast. I also sampled her Columbian Coffee and it was outstanding. Our server who I believe was Navia was an absolute gem and a sweetheart. My only objection which I hope adds more polish and leads to even bigger tips was some additional attention to detail, in that Navia forgot to follow-up with my girlfriend's request for cream for her coffee and ask about our water refills which I am a big stickler, but again total constructive feedback, and thank you for taking the time to take a picture outside with me which my girlfriend suggested. Overall great experience and I look forward to coming back and eating here again.

Came here on a Saturday for the first time with my kids. Maybe we picked a bad day because the reviews seem to be good overall. We got in and the host greeted us right away, polite but a little spaced out or something. I'm not sure which was worst after that, the food or the service. Our server was not present in his mind. I had to keep repeating everything I said. My daughter and I both got the Floridian omelet , not a fan. I had to doctor it up so much with salt, pepper and hot sauce. The crab is shredded in the sauce that goes over the omelet, it's not whole crab pieces. I requested potatoes with mine and she requested grits. Server brought out fries on both. Grits had ZERO FLAVOR. For my son we requested chicken tenders with fries, he brought fruit. Then he said "oh just use those potatoes for the chicken tenders", he said there were no 'strip fries', only cubed potatoes. We asked for a lemonade to go, he came back with a sprite. I hope everything is okay in his life because it was just not his day.. anyhoo, food was terrible I won't be trying again. Total waste of money, we couldn't finish the plate. Try Snooze, they never disappoint.

There are more negative reviews than positive and that initially made me not wanna go here but I know that I shouldn't always base my choice on the reviews alone good or bad. However I do understand why the bad reviews are here I saw a different party having not the best experience an i overheard it as well. I would say the dining area is on the bigger side but on mothers day morning/afternoon there were only 2 parties aside from my family there. It felt like we were alone with just the other customers I rarely saw any other employees aside from our server who was awesome and the food we had was great it was yummy my husband is very particular when it comes to restaurant food and even he loved everything. Our server was attentive and nice friendly and helpful. He was covered in tattoos and piercings he also seemed a little like he might have been on cloud nine he smelled like it, if ya get my drift but that didn't stop him from being good at his job so it doesn't bother me. However someone else might just look at him an smell that smell and think he may not be so helpful. I will come back because the food is yummy and the server I had was great. Also those who have had bad experiences I do believe them because I witnessed a different table with a different server having a rough time with him he didn't handle bringing them the wrong order to well and he acknowledged he made the error but was being a lil sassy about it. The environment reminds me of a empty post office lobby, slightly Erie in a way. And the table wasn't super clean at first. We were there almost 2 hours and no other customers came in as I walked out I noticed a bunch of other sticky or wet tables and chairs not pushed in. I saw a group of employees on the left back side of the dining area i guess by the register/counter. When business is slow and employees are present the restaurant should not be dirty like it was. These things can make or break you. If my server sucked I would not go back I dont care how good the food is. So please I want yall to last please nip all these things that seem small but aren't in the bud get your employees pn the same page if they dont care they gotta go, because it will be the downfall if nothing changes. The banner outside that says yall are open looked dirty and old it was very lop sided so it made me wonder if yall opened awhile ago and just kept the sign up just cause. Not the biggest deal but small things matter. We had the chicken and waffles and the pound cake french toast with scrambled eggs and the chicken sausage links. Everything was delicious eggs cooked perfect sausage good the pound cake french toast was sweet yet not overly sweet one might assume it will be super sweet but it wasn't I didn't add sryup it didn't need for me and my husband dislikes most sweeter things but he lived this our child loved it as well. We ordered more chicken later on it was seasoned well and the breakfast potatoes so good. I wish much success and look forward to...

This was our first time visiting this location on Westheimer in Houston, Texas. Upon ordering the waiter did not write anything down. We specifically told him that no one on our table eats meat due to religious reasons. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict, which comes with ham on it, but I ordered it without ham. The kitchen then proceeds to bring out the eggs Benedict with a huge slice of ham on my plate. I kindly asked the individual who bought out our food to remake the entire entrée again, because I wasn’t comfortable eating off the same plate with ham on it. I even specifically requested him to please not remove the ham and bring the same plate back. 1 minute later my order comes out again. They took off the ham, which was clearly shown by the smear of meat juice across my plate. I requested my waiter to remake the entire entrée again as I wasn’t comfortable eating on this order -again due to religious reasons. Another 5 minutes passed and my waiter brings out another plate, but the same eggs Benedict and country potatoes from the original plate with the ham on it. I could clearly tell because the food was cold and the order came out way too quickly for it to be remade. Our original order took 20 minutes when they first made it.

My friend on the table ordered the veggie delight omelette and asked for light mushrooms. When the omelette came out there were extra mushrooms in every single bite. To make matters worse, our two orders of pancakes were burnt.

Our entire experience was awful. I had to get out of my seat and walk over to the host to ask for a manager. There was no manager on staff so another waitress came and acted like the manager and said that she would go in the kitchen and watch them make the eggs Benedict again. Our experience was so disappointing as we felt disrespected that we just asked for the check and canceled the second order of eggs Benedict. No one apologized. The waiter never came back. And we ended up spending $51 when no one ate anything for brunch.

Left a disgusting taste...

We visited on Sunday 8/31. I very seldom leave negative reviews but this time I consider the owner should know how his business is being run. As soon as we came in we were not greeted by hostess. I had to approach the lady after a few min. and ask for a table. The place looks nice but the culture for service has to seriously improve. Server had a meh attitude who took our order and never came back to check on us until after we had finished our meal. About the meal, was brought out by another person I think the food runner who failed to greet us or offer any condiments. I asked him for drink refills( since we're out for a while) he said "ok" and never came back. The quality of the food was ok. Biscuits and gravy needed more gray and my supposed to be over easy eggs were over hard. Potato were over cooked. The server was still not coming to check on us. At this point we were still willing to leave a tip but then the server came right before we were finished and picked up our plates with out even asking if we were finished. A was shocked so I did no comment on this. He brought a refill and took off again. After 5-10 min. Came back just to give check took our card. About 10 past by and he was still not back with our check slip. We wanted to leave the place because the noise was over the top. There was a child screaming for whole t me we were there. Finally the server came and placed the signature on the table and didn't even looked at us a he thank us for visiting. By this time we didn't feel he deserved a tip. Like I said, service culture is very poor and some people weren't looking professional either. This was out first experience and we will not be...
