Pretty nut-allergy friendly, but I'd let your server know just in case. I'm not sure what Kody is saying below - half price fajitas are still a thing for Tuesdays AND Wednesdays at this location. It's only the two-person $30 size, though. Arrived at 7PM on a Tuesday evening. Relatively empty but they seemed short staffed because it still took 5-10 minutes for a hostess to return and I was still delayed because there were no clean menus. After being seated, chips and salsa were quickly served (3 servings for 5 people, nice!). However, we never got the last two sets of utensils as they ran out and never came back. We had to go hunt some down. Ordered two of the half price fajitas for five people (one light eater). They came out relatively quickly (15ish minutes?). Sour cream and cheese cost extra. Two orders of fajitas only came out with one order of beans and rice, but this was sufficient for us and our server said they'd bring more if we needed it (I like this - saving food waste). Food was decent. The steak was a bit burned at the end. One might say nicely charred. Tortillas were a bit small. There were some misses in service - water took a long time to be refilled; we asked for salsa once (they took our chips and salsa away when we got the fajitas) and it never came back; and the utensils problem I wrote about earlier. Overall, I'd come back for half price fajitas but at menu price, I don't know if I'd recommend it. There was also a really loud corporate sounding event going on while we were there.

Oh my peers I don't have enough words to describe how much I loved this place. I went for dinner tonight, I ordered fajitas mixed, beef and chicken. Let m tell u the beef cm medium-alive- juicy, meaning if u like ur beef more well done it will finish cooking n thw iron skillet (which it does) corn and flour tortilla, guack and Pico, and I got an extra green creamy sauce 4 the chips which were super thin, little oily but not bad. The tortillas were super, both. The red sauce, warm, not too spicy excellent and I think It has a hint of Chipotle, but don't quote me on that, that was just my taste buds having a delicious liason with all the flavors. The plate cm w/ beans, charro 4 me, rice, cooked to perfection, which is rare, not soggy or mush. What else I can say I hope this review water your mouth and open ur wallet. Our waiter, sorry but I don't remember his name, was excellent, african American duowr tall guy which when brought the tortillas, took the liberty to offer me the first one in my plate, kudos for an excellent customer attention, and off course I left a juicy tip, remember ALWAYS TIP GOOD, U R BN SERVED, AND ALWAYS THANK THEM 4 THE EFFORT. I HIGHLY recommend this place. First those w a sweet tooth, sorrmaybe next time. Will be back for more

I would say this is pretty standard Tex Mex fare in Houston. Not my go to spot, but still a spot to go to. I upgraded my Marg w casamigos and made it spicy - $12 nicely spent. Not overly sweet - which was a first. I feel like a lot of Tex Mex joints overly sweeten their margs. Cheese enchiladas were solid as was the queso. They have all types of beans - including refried black and whole black. My 2 favs šŸ˜Ž My wife got 2 beef fajita tacos - for $20 lol. You're better off the fajitas for 1 that way you get all the fixings w it. Anyways, overall the service was on point, food was good, and margs were flowing. THEY DO TAKE RESERVATIONS ON WEEKENDS - unlike El Tiempo. This is a major key. We had a large party for my cousins birthday so this worked out really nicely. I dinged a star bc they failed to put the ice cream cake in the freezer lol - so it came out after our dinner like soft serve.

This was a rare night for me. Today is one of my closest friends birthday and she chose this Pappasito's to celebrate which I'm okay with it because I actually Pappasito's. Maybe five months since I've been there especially with all of this whole pandemic and covid-19 going on. I understand the facemask that's not a complaint. I even understand the limited people seated at the table again not a problem. My complaint was the fact that I came in and it took almost 30 minutes before order was taken and then after waiting 30 minutes. I still never received my food which was just what he does never have I waited 30 minutes for fajitas in an almost empty restaurant. The thing that made this ten times worse was the same server who took my order throw me a check for food I never received. And when questioned about it you said you didn't get your food he made the attempt to go and check on it. And as I was sitting there I saw a black gentleman and I explained to him the situation I told him I don't even want the food anymore and that it was weird that I got a check before my plate. The general told me don't worry about it we were going to talk to the manager and have it removed from my ticket about 15 minutes later he came back with my food told me was completely complimentary and change the entire evening for me again, since February the whole quarantine this was my first time eating out. I wish I would have moved the gentleman's name who went out of his way to correct the issue I was more than willing to pay for my food. Just as I was willing to not receive my order. This exemplary employee made up for the lack of service I received from our actual waiter. Whose name I'll never forget. I'm just going say thank you for going...

My husband and I met through a mutual friend celebrating her birthday here at this restaurant 11 years ago. (As of 2018.) We go back every year on the anniversary of our meeting. If it weren't for that, we would rarely go to this location. We love Pappasito's. Their beef fajitas are unrivaled. It's a fun atmosphere whichever location you go to. And the service is almost always above standard. For us, we have a location much closer to home (Clear Lake area), and for the proximity alone, we prefer to go there. For this location on Richmond, it's always great, it's just more for tradition than for anything else. I will say, our 2018 experience was phenomenal. Our server (her tag said she's also a trainer) was A. MAZE. ING. We were in a hurry and there on a Sunday evening. We never said we were in a hurry but we were eating in no time flat. We always mention that we're there for our meeting anniversary, especially if we can get the table where our story began. This year, we did. This year Pappasito's threw in an anniversary desert for us. She had that to us before our table was cleared so she had a coworker come help her box up our leftovers. That was above and beyond, in my opinion, but seems to be par for the course 99% of the time at any Pappasito's. We'll be back to this spot in the future, February 2019 if nothing in between. Well certainly be back to a Pappasito's in...
