Initial service was good, but the guy who was a waiter. He was the youngest one very very slow very slow very nice guy but very very slow. If you ask him something, he would totally forget conveniently and then you have to remind him to bring it again and then he will be like oh OK and then he would bring it so there’s no nothing about not niceness so he’s nice but the service was slow. Food was great atmosphere is awesome so five out of five for food and atmosphere but service yes it was needed to be little bit. Hurry up, kind of they are already charging 15 to 20% tip automatically without asking so which is OK I’m OK with that but then they need to provide the service that needs to be provided so I forgot what was the percentage of tip card but it was a very good amount almost 1/4 of our bill amount was for the Tip but the service was not provided as accordingly so they need to. They’re nice everything and I understand they can get busy but they have multiple people working and a small place so it’s not a rocket science to provide a good service comparatively to any American restaurant so they need to little bit focus on Service a little bit more providing the items quicker and asking also nobody ask us. Do you need anything else are you guys doing? OK nothing or none of that. It was more like food runners that just OK you ordered this we provided you this so and then so I think the service level they need to work on much more and otherwise the food is fantastic. Ambience is fantastic. Great menu is good cleanliness very good. Just make sure that too little bit rush on the Service side or at least be normal just not be too too slow. For everything I give them five out of five, but for Service, I give them two out of five.

This is the second time I've been to Reza's. The owners are warm, friendly and passionate about their food. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food is fresh, delicious and inventive. Their's is not only the best Persian food in Houston, it is literally some of the best food in the city. I ordered the mint lemonade and it was perfect. Before I had ordered anything else I was presented with a lovely just-baked flat bread with black sesame seeds and salad plate of mixed herbs (thai basil, mint, parsley) cucumbers and feta cheese. Each dish complimentary! As you can see in the photo you begin your meal with a considerable meal of its own in fresh bread and salad. Even though I had this beautiful refreshing salad plate I went ahead and ordered the full plate where there was more of the same plus tomatoes and walnuts. The kabobs were strong in flavor and super tender. The fluffy basmati rice was topped with cranberries and candied pistachios and almonds. A perfect addition. The tabbouleh was stringent with lemon juice. The chicken was so tender that I was sure it had been marinated in yogurt, but when I asked the owner he said it was not. He said that their halal chicken they source is the freshest they can find each and every day and that they never use chicken the next day. He was very proud of his chicken and I don't blame him.

Reza Persian Grill offers an authentic and delightful experience of Persian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting ambiance, characterized by elegant Persian decor and soft lighting, sets the tone for a memorable meal. The menu boasts a variety of traditional Persian dishes, each prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. Highlights include the succulent kebabs, perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, and the aromatic saffron rice, which pairs beautifully with any main course. The Fesenjan, a chicken stew with pomegranate and walnut sauce, stands out for its rich and complex flavors. The appetizers, such as the creamy hummus and refreshing mast-o-khiar (yogurt with cucumber and mint), are perfect starters. For dessert, the baklava and saffron ice cream offer a sweet and satisfying end to the meal. Service at Reza Persian Grill is attentive and friendly, with staff eager to explain dishes and offer recommendations. The restaurant also offers a good selection of wines and traditional Persian beverages like doogh (yogurt drink) to complement the meal. Overall, Reza Persian Grill is a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Persian dining experience. The combination of flavorful food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere makes it a standout in the local dining scene.

My wife & I along with my daughter went to try Reza Persian Grill for the 1st time. My daughter stayed back in the car to finish her home work assignments while we went in to place a quck order to go. We were greeted with a short Hispanic greeter (later said he was the manager) with purmed curly hair and skinny jeans that needed to be pulled up above his waist, to look more presentable as a first person greeter. We ordered 4 plates and we tipped accordingly. We waited for the food to get ready. It took a while so I thought I check out the restaurant and as an excuse went to the wash room. The restrooms were clean & very organized. The floor of the restaurant was somewhat slippery so I took care to just get back to my seat and wait some more. It took some more time so I went upto the front counter and waited for the same greeter/manager to show up so I can ask how much more time for the food to be ready. He did not come out for a while so I thought if I called the restaurant, he will come to the front and I can get his attention. Well the phone rang and rang and no one answered except for the answering service that was not even a human out going message , but the electronic voice that comes with the phone out of the box. A nice waitress came to pick up a receipt that was printing out by the phone ,so I asked if she could find the greeter as we had to leave. She got him and I asked nicely that we have to leave and if the order was not ready, to just refund us please. He asked for us to wait for him to go and check. We waited . Another nice waiter saw me standing there for a while so he came over and asked, so I explained more irritatedly, that I just wanted to go but I either need the food or the money refunded so I can leave as we were there for 40 minutes and it's just not right. He went and a few minutes later the greeter came out with the food. I was very upset at this point and asked why it took so long? This is when he started to TELL me and my wife that he told us that it will take at least 30 minutes long. We got very angry as I did not expect a rude lie from an employee. We told him that he never talked about any waiting time because if we had known it was going to take that long, we would have gone to next door Persian restaurants Bijan or Darband. He did not stop talking louder and louder over me speaking until I got fed up with his lack of customer service, human etiquette, and rude way of talking to us. I asked for the manager and with a smirk, he announced that HE WAS THE MANAGER! I lost it at that point , because he gave us no respect, no solution, and shifted the problem back on us that since he told us it was going to take long, we had no reason to be upset. So he lied about the time conversation, he had no management skills, and was rude by constantly talking louder and louder over me. I solved my problem by shouting at the top of my head over him that "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TALK OVER YOUR CLIENTS !!!" I got the attention of all the patrons and the staff were among them. I was hoping that the real manager or someone with more culture and etiquette would show up. They tried to give us free sweets which we refused, they tried to reason with me to stop shouting my problem with their bad service, but I did not. No one said that they are sorry. We got the food and left in anger as I did not want to wait there any longer as we were late as it was. About the food. The koobideh beef, the koobideh combo, the chiken barg were all cold and super dry. I think they were sitting somewhere in the kitchen. On a positive note , the zereshk polo with chicken was actually good. Over all, I can't recommend this restaurant. Any one interested in better service, I would recommend Caspian Persian Restaurant or Garson Persian Restaurant for high level quality and...

Disappointed. So disappointed. Heard so much hype about this place so I decided to take my family out to dinner here on a Friday night. I was honestly shocked at how horrible the service was, and I probably will not be dining in here anytime soon or maybe never again if I am being completely honest.

First of all- we had a reservation for 8:30PM. We called earlier in the day to reconfirm and guess what? They didn't have our reservation at all. So we reconfirmed again and put our name and # of people down. We get to the restaurant at 8:30 and of course- our table wasn't ready. We waited 10-15 mins and got our table. Okay fine 10-15 minutes is not a big deal, but what was the point of the reservation? Anyways our family arrives- and we ordered appetizers which were good, but again we had to hunt down the waiter to bring us bread.. shouldn't that already be being done? We had 9 people. They brought us 2 pieces of bread lol. We had to keep hunting the waiter down to get more. It's just common sense that 9 people will finish 2 pieces of bread instantly right? Then we finally ended up ordering which was chaotic. We decided to do family style. We ordered a bunch of items and had them bring it in one platter with cranberry rice. The lady taking our order wasn't even listening. She missed 1 of the main dishes, so when the order came we decided to just forget about that dish because it would take them 20 hours to bring it out. Also when they brought the food out they shoved it on the table and spilled some on my mom.... Lol. It was just repeatedly such bad service. The waiter apologized but you already spilled it? So what more could he do? We ordered 5 hot teas in the end and they ended up bringing 1 for everyone even when everyone didn't even order one. Like that's fine but why aren't you guys listening to our order and just doing what you want? Why is NO ONE LISTENING?!!!!! It was so hard to communicate and get things to the table- like to go boxes, extra serving utensils. My anxiety has never been so high in my life. Please just have better service. Your restaurant is PACKED why is the service so horrendous?

All in all- food was good but if you come here do not come with a party more than 5. Or just do take out. The place was so crowded, so loud, so CHAOTIC. You can't hear yourself talk, you can't hear the person next to you, you can't hear your inner thoughts. I wanted to get out as soon as I arrived. Sorry Reza, but there are so many better options in Houston for Persian...
