This is probably the worst Sharetea experience I ever had with this location. We have gone to this Sharetea at Rice Village location since its grand opening and has always been very satisfied with their services until today.
Today, I brought my daughter to get a two drinks. My daughter walked in around 8:50pm, and ordered one drink, then was told in an attitude that âWe donât take cash right nowâ. My daughter came back telling me about the cashiers attitude and I decided to go in to order with her. When it was our turn to order, the cashier couldnât wait until my daughter had a chance to order and told her âYou have one minute leftâ. My daughter became scared and had to pick a drink that she could not put too much thought into. I understand we came right when the store closed, but the customer service was still very unacceptable. While we were waiting for the drink, she started spraying in front of us and made noises with all the containers. When we picked up our drink, I noticed that my boba was missing. I kindly reminded her and she immediately turned all the blame over to me, stating I never made her aware of it. I do not like arguing too much in general, so she told me she already dumped all the boba for the day and we are welcome to stop by Teahouse to get more boba if we like. I started thinking what kind of the people could be hired for a customer oriented business. All I saw, was someone who was incredibly impatient, rude, arrogant and irritable. I asked for the girlâs name and was told no, because she thinks I will file a complain to her behavior. She refused to let me know her name and used cursing language multiple times in front of my pre-teen daughter. This is not acceptable and we are very disappointed that Sharetea will hire staff with this attitude. We order at this location at least once each week and never had such experience. If I could rate this store zero...
Read moreThe drinks at Sharetea are on par with those of other boba shops in the area, although I do think there is room for improvement on the menu selection especially with respect to the fruit teas. I understand this is a change that would need to happen on a corporate level which will not reflect in this review. My three stars are due to poor service. My husband and I came about two hours before closing a few months ago and they had already run out of tapioca for the evening. I would understand if it had been 30 minutes before closing, but there was still plenty of time for customers to walk in craving boba. Yesterday my husband asked the young lady at the cash register whether their milk teas were made with dairy or nondairy creamer; she didn't know the answer to his question so she turned to the other girl working with her who laughed, looked at us both with a blank stare, and said that it was in fact made with nondairy creamer. She did not respond confidently, which is not what you want to hear when you have lactose intolerance. I am now writing this review from Teahouse down the street as Sharetea did not have wifi and we did not find out until after ordering our drinks. Thankfully we received a full refund but my husband and I are reluctant to return after several subpar experiences. He will be writing a separate review about a terribly botched order that was delivered to him and his coresidents in the...
