Shay McElroy's — Restaurant in Houston

This place is still always "freezing" in there very cold even in the summer when 45 outside it 60 in there at all times with the fans blowing too! Got there once a week with friend spend lot of money $$ in the place. We have complained now for two years to bar person and manager (owner must be MIA) tell you tough luck! Doesn't do any good need to get it fixed bring a coat ask them to at least turn off the fans but just got told this Wed 10 Oct '18 they couldn't do that either had my warm jacket on still cold! Bar gal got mad and so told me I couldn't come back to this place again are you kidding me manager wasn't even there! It was 3 pm and wasn't drunk of anything like that not a nice way to treat a 70 year old senior person I have enough to worry about like to keep breathing! Is a good bar though can eat and have Gunnissis UK beer in the 22 ox glasses which we like and have good music can play on the music box! Audios and give my regards to Broad Way I'll be spending my money elsewhere lke across the street...

Just had a very bad experience today.Well,I just went to sit down and smoke on the patio like normally.But,I don't stop regularly like I use to But I was insulted today by this caucasian lady whos a worker there.They know who it was and I changed my reviews from five star to none because I been seeing her there but she never was the one who greeted me I was fused.So upset it made me start cussing this lady. If this establishment dont allow recreational herbs smoking outside on patio,please put someone there who's not rude to people .Customers have rights and should be respected.One bad apple can lead to loss of sales.She needs to suck somewhere else with that Put signs up.I think she doesn't have her own place.She mention something about homelessness.Maybe I will find a park bench if I can find your momma there And no not because I wanted to smoke I was just chilling relaxing Never come out rude to any customer.Tell your momma to...

Always enjoy a good Irish pub. This one good but not great. We and a very good friend, who had conducted the Houston Symphony that evening, went in after the concert. We were looking for food and beverage after reading a Yelp description. Unfortunately. that description did not include the fact that the kitchen closed at 9 PM. All they had at that time was bags of Potato Chips. A dissapoinment. Tap beer was good l, to be expected. The Irish Whiskey sour that was ordered by one of the party was "OK" but less than great. I would go there again for the beer, but later night food, we'll go somewhere else. Since the food description was one reason we decided to try this establishment, and, the reason we might have gone there again sometime in the future, I doubt we will be to this...
