Staff was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE.
First time in Houston, was driving around downtown taking in the views and had been on the lookout for a Starbucks for an afternoon pick me up. Saw this one and had my father in law drop us out front to run in and order real quick. Beautiful lobby, was so excited by the holiday decorations.
It was 3:42 when we approached the line and as we did, they closed the rope right in front of us and told us they were CLOSED. At 3:42. When their hours say 4PM. I understand they needed to close the line so they can close at 4, but the kind and right thing to do would have been to let us in the line and then close the rope behind us, seeing as we were there before they closed the line and BEFORE actual close of business. I understand and empathize with how tedious and miserable the food industry can be, I worked in it for years. Which is how I know we were never allowed to turn anyone away until the closing hours posted on our door and website.
It doesn’t take much to be kind and it also doesn’t take much to squash excitement or a good mood. We almost paid for parking to go to this Starbucks, so I suggest you make it clear that your location closes at 3:40PM and not 4, or that your staff all align on proper closing protocol if you are indeed...

Ordered two everything bagels with cream cheese. They said they would smear the cream cheese inside the bagel. I opened my order one hour later to find it was only ONE everything bagel with a packet of cream cheese that wasn't smeared.
I was outraged but gave it another chance the next day. I told them specifically what happened yesterday, and they said they will give me two everything bagels smeared with cream cheese this time. I got my order of two PLAIN bagels (I asked for everything bagel). Again, the cream cheese was given in a plastic packet when they specifically said they would smear it in the bagel.
Enraged, I immediately confronted them. One lady simply says they don't do that, even when an other lady clearly said they would. They wouldn't even remake my order or give me a refund when I told them I bought two everything bagels but received two plain bagels.
TLDR: I have absolutely NEVER had a worse fast food experience. Do yourself a favor and buy from the Starbucks in the convention...
Read moreLet me just preface this with the statement that I NEVER send food or drinks back.I am so sorry to inconvenience you. However, my drink (which I order regularly so know what it should taste like) tasted too sour to tolerate. I really tried but took all the courage I had to ask them to remake it. I walk up to a woman that never looks up at people to address the customers when delivering their drinks. Finally after 3 rounds of her dropping off and walking away faster then I could open my mouth I interrupt her delivering drinks to the pass. "Excuse me, I am so sorry but this tastes sour. Is there anyway you can remake it?" To which she rolls her eyes and walks away. Another barista walks over and asks "what was it?" Takes the cup to the back counter which appears to be a graveyard of discarded drinks and begins to remake mine. Delivers it to me with a slide across the counter, "here you go". Exactly how I ordered so kudos on that. However, as I walk back to my family I hear them both bickering. Not the best experience for...
