OVERPRICED BLAND FOOD I honestly only came to this place because of all the adds of a new Cajun seafood place opening up and I’m all for it. I was highly disappointed and will never return. In my opinion the only reason why they have ANY customers is because of the free drinks they give out to suck people in. I don’t drink so that would be no reason for me to go. I was charged $16 for one piece of fish 3 shrimp and a hand full of fries plus a regular fountain drink! That’s WAY over priced you would be better off with sticking to Navy Seafood or papsitos around the corner If I’m going to pay that much for so little. The food was so bland no seasons AT ALL and I wasn’t even given the type of fish I asked for. I told the lady at the front catfish and I got whatever other type they are promoting. If the food is going to be bland and overpriced at least give me what I payed for. Couldn’t even do that right. Both ladies at the front the one taking orders and the one behind her are not wearing hair nets and their hair is not contained correctly either. They must not have proper cooling in the cooking area as I noticed there is a cooling( what looks like a Window AC unit) behind the counter girl on top of a counter/table. Dust and other things build up in those units and blow into the kitchen. I’m sorry to say but I don’t see this place lasting. Might want to close this place down and try again smh.

What ever happened to customer service. I went to The Catch today to have a catfish. With a coworker. And I got the catfish and shrimp. i told the gentleman, I did not order the shrimp.I'm allergic to it. So he takes my plate. Then he gives it back to me with a shrimp still on it , saying I can keep the shrimp. I was Expec. to get more catfish nuggets to replace the shrimp, i can not eat. The gentleman at the front counter tell me.I put more fish on your plate, which was not true, because my co-worker ordered the catfish and shrimp.and both lunch baskets looked the same amount of fish and shrimp. , So he refused to give me a refund on half of that catfish nugget basket. So , needless to say, he did not care that I was unhappy with my lunch and my lunch hour ran out. So now, I guess I gotta go get me some fast food. After having to pay full price for a half of lunch at The Catch. There is a picture of me returning the shrimp. I did not eat. The Catch. I will not return here and after give you a chance to make my lunch right . you refuse . $13.99 for a half order cat fish nuggets. and but way, And that is why you should only tip after you done with your meal . and not tip , Before you get bad service.

The free mixed drinks and free beer is a really fun idea. It gives you something to do while waiting to order and I assume the sodas are free as well but I didn't order one. If you are from south Louisiana, aka Acadiana, and are looking for some authentic Cajun food I would stay away from the Cajun dishes simply because they really don't taste as good as authentic Louisiana boudin balls or gumbo, but the fried fish looks like it would be excellent, as does the boiled fish and seafood! I went to the Grand opening and it was really crowded but I would like to go back again and try some of the fried fish and / or the seafood. The boudin balls were mushy, which is not really how they're supposed to be so I will probably pass on the Cajun food next time. Texans don't tend to be as particular when it comes to Cajun food so if you're from Texas you probably won't mind it. 😉 For more tips and travel reviews as well as Cruise blogs and excursion videos, follow me on Facebook and Instagram @ TravelWithLesli ✈️🌏🚢

If you’re searching for an unforgettable seafood dining experience, The Catch is a must-visit. From the deliciously fresh menu to the relaxing ambiance, this place gets it right on every front. But what truly set my visit apart was the exceptional service provided by Junior Rojas.

Junior is an absolute standout. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel like VIPs. He approached our table with a warm, welcoming smile and a genuine enthusiasm for the food. It’s not often you encounter a server who is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also truly passionate about the menu, and Junior definitely fits that bill. He took the time to explain the daily specials in detail, and based on his recommendations, we tried the pan-seared scallops and the clam chowder—both of which were simply outstanding.

What really impressed me was Junior’s attentiveness. He didn’t just serve our food and disappear; he checked in at just the right moments, making sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. His attention to detail was incredible—anticipating when we might need another drink refill, offering to bring extra sides, and even recommending the perfect wine to pair with our meal. It’s rare to see someone take such pride in their work, and Junior’s excellent service truly enhanced the entire experience.

Not only was Junior’s service top-notch, but his friendly, upbeat attitude made the evening feel personal and special. It’s clear he cares deeply about making every guest feel valued, and his positivity is contagious. His professionalism, paired with his genuine warmth, created an atmosphere where we could relax, enjoy our meal, and feel completely taken care of.

The food at The Catch speaks for itself—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared—but Junior’s outstanding service is what will keep me coming back. He made the entire dining experience effortless and enjoyable, and I’m grateful for his attention and care throughout the evening.

If you want an amazing meal and service that goes above and beyond, ask for Junior when you visit The Catch. I can't wait to return and see what other great recommendations he has next time!

what really made my visit stand out was the exceptional service provided by Junior Rojas. Junior went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that made the meal even more enjoyable. He took the time to explain the day's specials, offering recommendations based on our preferences, and his passion for the seafood they serve truly shone through.

As for the food, The Catch certainly lives up to its name. The seafood is as fresh as it gets, with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes. The clam chowder was creamy and rich, the grilled shrimp was perfectly seasoned, and the oysters were divine. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and you could tell the chefs put great care into each plate.

Junior's attentiveness made the experience even better—he checked in at just the right moments and made sure we were always comfortable. He helped us pair a great white wine with our meal, and his recommendations on the dessert menu were spot-on. By the end of the night, it felt like we were leaving friends behind, not just a restaurant.

If you're a seafood lover or just looking for a memorable meal, I highly recommend visiting The Catch. And if you’re lucky enough to have Junior Rojas serving you, know that you’re in excellent hands!

I’ll definitely be...
