Thought I would share a horrible restaurant experience I had in kingwood today. So we decided to try somewhere we had never been before and stopped at Three B's Grill in Kingwood. Worst decision ever! The atmosphere was of a sports bar which was great. We beat the lunch rush and arrived before noon. Our waitress came and took our drink order as normal and returned with the drinks pretty promptly. Mind you we had never been here so we needed to look at the menu on what to order, but the menu wasn't that big so it didn't take us long to decide on our meal. We sat waiting which seemed forever as we watched our waitress pass us by over and over again without even looking at us. We had our menus turned over and out of the way so she knew we were ready. Then she started cleaning and organizing tables around, which is fine but there were plenty of other employees just standing around that could have helped but didn't. Still barely anyone there I got up and politely asked if she was going to take our order. She said yes and came over, I walked her to our table in case she got lost along the way. She then took our order. A rush of softball players with their families then came in and the place was packed. After waiting what seemed forever our food finally arrived. I had the Lopez which is a footlong hot dog and she had a Mac n cheese Burger. Nothing to hard to make and shouldn't take as long as it did. We then realized the Mac n cheese was freezing cold and then waited for our waitress to return so we could send it back. She never checked on us and when she refilled our drinks she just snatched them up without saying a word. Very rude!! When she finally checked on us we told her it was frozen and would like something else. We them ordered the Philly cheese steak which the manager brought over and said he was sorry. The onion rings we're cold as if they took them off another plate. I don't know of it was because we took my motorcycle there and didn't fit in with the crowd but nobody should be treated that way. I left no monetary tip but left a note stating to do a better job next time. There will be no next...
Read moreMy family and I come here almost on a weekly basis. It’s convenient with decent bar/grill food. Stays open late. Has plenty of tvs all over for games and fights. Variety on the menu with decent pricing and portions. Drinks are good.
It’s a family friendly bar/grill. They have a small gaming area for the kids so bring coins. If a game or fight is on and you don’t raise your children around foul language then this is not the place to bring your kids on these nights because there’s always that one customer who is careless with their words & surroundings. Many young/high school aged staff so that explains a lot about the service you may get. Service is always hit or miss depending on who is serving us.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering to go because we have had nothing but issues every time we try to give them the benefit of the doubt time after time. Dining in is the way to go. If your order is wrong, speak with a manager directly to ensure it gets corrected the right way. Again we just ordered wings to go and the sauce type was wrong, instead of making them again with the correct sauce we ordered, they tossed the same wings in another sauce to cover it up 🤦🏽♀️ If you order burgers/sliders and don’t like pink meat, ask for well done. Otherwise you’re eating a fresh cow between a bun.
Aside from the carelessness of the cooks and staff at times it’s a good spot. Owners show their faces here and there so once you go often enough you’ll know who they are. Friendly guys. Overall, we recommend giving them a try if you haven’t already & we will continue going to three b’s. We’ve just found who we prefer to serve us, no more to go orders and are aware of how to order certain menu items. No place is perfect. There’s always pros and cons. Glad to have Three B’s in the...
Read moreTL;DR-GREAT food and generous portion sizes. They've fixed their service times (at least this visit).
Had been once last and the food was good but service was PAINFULLY slow (as other commenters had said.) Last night, we were going somewhere else but I started thinking about the CFS I had there the first time. It's a Tuesday evening, no church, not a weekend, so shouldn't be that busy. Decided to give it another go.
Wrong the place was full. Greeter did ask us to hold a sec to ensure he was not doubleseating the waitress. Good call, I see progress from our first visit. When we are seated, it is at the same damn table they squish in the middle of the aisle where no matter where you sit, you constantly get bumped/brushed etc., we sat at on our first visit. Aw, hell....
Experiences between the visits split there. Order was taken in a timely fashion, food was out of the kitchen in a reasonable amount of time, was as tasty as it was our first visit, etc. etc.
If this wasn't a fluke night and they truly have fixed their service/kitchen issues, I'll take my MiL here in a heartbeat (she is less patientthan we are!) Best CFS I've found in a long time. And get this, no gristle strips in it. Was probably fork tender (or it was a REALLY sharp knife I used). Also, the only place I don't have to add pepper to the cream gravy (which is a perfect consistency- not watery, not cement.) Mashed potatoes are excellent (if you like garlic that is - which I do).
DW's hamburger was huge and she was really impressed with how good it was. Possibly fresh baked bun. Big thick patty.
Overall, we chose to give the place another try because the food was so good last time. I am...
