We had such a great experience here last night! The menu is excellent—packed with all the classics plus some really creative options. The drink menu was just as impressive, and my smoked pineapple margarita was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful too, complete with a fresh pineapple leaf garnish.

The queso was a standout—just the right amount of smoky flavor with fresh jalapeños and onions—and the chips were light, crisp, and not greasy at all. I went with the chicken quesadilla, which was fresh and flavorful with great salsa and pico on the side. Personally, I like my tortillas a little crispier, but the overall quality and presentation were excellent.

The strip center itself may have had some outside odors the night we visited, but inside the restaurant was spotless and smelled amazing. Once seated, everything about the dining experience was top-notch.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Mexican food with great drinks...

One of My Favorite Spots in Houston!

This place is a true gem for anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican cuisine—not Tex-Mex, but the real deal. It’s family-owned and operated by a Mexican family, and their roots are reflected in every dish. The flavors are bold and traditional, the ingredients in both food and drinks are incredibly fresh, and the customer service is consistently outstanding.

I’ve seen a few reviews comparing this restaurant’s prices and drinks to larger chain establishments. While everyone is entitled to their opinion based on their own experiences, I think it’s important to be mindful of what we’re actually comparing. Chains often serve Tex-Mex dishes and pre-made drinks, which are worlds apart from the handcrafted quality and authenticity you’ll find here.

If you’ve ever been to a good restaurant in Mexico—or even another truly authentic Mexican spot in the U.S.—you'll immediately recognize and appreciate the difference. It’s not just about food; it’s about preserving culture and flavor, and that deserves recognition.

I’ve followed this family across different locations over the years, and their consistency in quality and hospitality keeps me coming back. Houston is lucky to have a place like this. Let's celebrate and support the few authentic Mexican restaurants out there doing it right.

We discovered this great little spot through a recent social media post and decided to give it a try—I always enjoy supporting small businesses. This is the second location run by a pair of brothers, and it definitely delivers.

For me, the first impression of any Mexican restaurant starts with the salsa—and theirs is easily one of my favorites in all of Houston. I had the chicken fajitas and my wife ordered the tostadas—both dishes were packed with sizzling flavor. The chili that came with our meal was outstanding, and the drinks were just as impressive.

If you’re looking for a place with authentic flavor and a welcoming vibe, give this spot a try. You won’t be...

Such great food! I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s all been so delicious 🤤! This time I had the tacos with beef and I love the pickled red onions. They add such a unique flavor to the tacos that make you want more. I’ve also had food catered for events from here and aside from complements on how tasty everything is, I also got complements for the presentation. The restaurant goes above and beyond to make sure that the food also looks as appetizing as it tastes.
