Tostada Regia — Restaurant in Houston

6/26/25 update review. Unfortunately, today was not a good service and food quality. We ordered bistec norteno and it was bland no flavor at all on the meat, the asado plate was oversalted and had to really chop small pieces to my taco just to compensate the saltines, on the mocajete dish we ordered for the guacamole to be seperate due that its for a kid and wants to have the experience of ordering this dish just dosent like the guacamole. Well the dish came with everything inside, and husband had to cut the chicharon parts with the guac off so he can enjoy his dish. When we told the server this they were like we can just wipe it off for u we at this point like no it's ok we can handle it from here. After this mistake on their part not one single server came back to our table to see if everything was ok. But they all took glances over the table. From afar knowing full well their mistake only until the end. Only Jair came and ask if everything was ok. And I feel like they had the disgrace to pass the table to him when Francis took our order then the other server brought our food and mind you that they only had about 5 small tables booked when we were there. Might not be coming back if it's like this here now.

Good experience had a great welcoming to the restaurant once I was sitted on a table we waited a bit to get sitter but it was OK. Music wise its really weird they had dirtiest styles of music not the style of music you want to listen while eating. Food was good really good. Sitting in some parts of the restaurant felt to close to each other but good thing we were done with our food just waiting on the tab. Waiters were really attentive to service and taking care...

Very poor service. Went in at 8:30 in the morning to order a breakfast burrito to go. Took a couple minutes for someone to attend me. Mary then took my order which I asked her what was the name of the burrito and she just stood there as if she don't know what's on the menu and didn respond. So i had to go thru the menu and find it and she still got the order wrong. Then I had to repeat it to her and got the order correct. I sat down on the chair in front of the counter waiting for my burrito when I seen a couple show up few minutes later to dine in. I was waiting while browsing thru my phone when I realize that 20 minutes already passed and still no burrito so then I got up and as soon as I got up Mary seen me and then went right away to get the burrito. I asked her why it took 20 minutes to get 1 burrito and she said because it's busy but then I told her this couple showed up after me and they already had gotten their food and were eating already and she just said well it's busy and just walked away. No apology at all what so ever. So then I felt the burrito was cold already and told this other lady working there who can I talk to so I can get a refund and she said let me get the manager. Turns out the manager was the same dude person. So she took her sweet time to go to the register to give me my refund. When she decided to go she asked me why I wanted the refund so I told here I didnt like the service so then she snatched the burrito and threw it on the counter and gave me my refund. Once again no apology. The food is good from that business but with that kind of attitude I will never...

We arrived at this establishment for the first time thinking it was going to be a great experience but unfortunately that was not the case. We sat down and waited for about 10 minutes and finally we were asked what we wanted to drink. We waited 15 minutes for her to come back with our drinks and my husbands beer was warm. 15 minutes after that she finally took our order after asking secrete other waiters to contact our waitress to take our food order. We also didn’t get offered chips until 10 minutes after our drinks came out. We waited and waited and then only one order of food came out and a different waitress asked “that’s it right ?” and we stated that there was a lot more food missing. Our waitress wasn’t very attentive. We were then approached by a man who I’m guessing was the manager after like another 20 minutes and asked my husband if we could repeat the order to him. Food finally came out and it was COLD!!! Asked to have it reheated and only re heated one of sides the potatoes. This place RUINED our night and for the first time I really felt that I shouldn’t of have been CHARGED A DIME! We have never posted reviews but this place is HORRIBLE. Also above our table the ac vent was leaking water!!!! Horrible place we will be reaching out to city officials to have a health inspector check this place out.
