Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Houston

I visited Tropical Smoothie around 7:50 PM and was extremely disappointed by the experience. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that two of the employees appeared visibly irritated . One team member in particular — an Asian or Filipino woman — was behaving in a highly unprofessional manner. Although I initially came in just to use the restroom before placing an order, I was taken aback by the aggressive behavior I witnessed. She was loudly slamming the blenders into the sink and speaking to her coworkers with an unacceptable tone. After returning from the restroom, I overheard her yelling and using profanity while discussing the previous customers. Her behavior was not only disruptive, but it also created a hostile environment for me. The energy in the store was so uncomfortable that I ultimately decided to leave without ordering. I’m disappointed by the lack of professionalism and basic respect displayed by this employee. Based on this experience, I don’t plan to return to this location. I sincerely hope management takes steps to address this situation and create a more supportive and respectful workplace...

I looooove tropical café yet never had been to the king wood location. To start with the food is wonderful. I ordered two salads and accidentally got two wraps. Two very sweet Caucasian girls with a very sweet attitude corrected the mistake and made the salads. That’s when things felt very strange. There was an Asian girl who my two daughters kept telling me she was rolling her eyes to. I tried to ignore it and felt bad since she took the order. So maybe she was upset I mentioned I wanted salad not wrap. Well we leave( and this white guy who was not wearing a uniform maybe her boyfriend or an employee who was off) get off his seat by the counter and walks to the table we were sitting and starts inspecting it. Then picks up a napkin we accidentally missed when we threw our trash away and keep pointing at us shaking his head like to make us feel bad we left the napkin. It just felt so weird. We will keep going to tropical smoothy but never again to this location. Both the Asian girl and the white guy made it extremely weird. Other than that the other two girls were super wonderful and so...

I love this place, my family and I come here all the time. But I don’t love that they just clearly don’t care about their customers whether they’re loyal or not. I placed a mobile pickup order today then tried to cancel it 2 minutes later when I realized I actually couldn’t come pick it up but they claimed they had the whole order made already so there was nothing they could do for me and suggested I called corporate then I hung up and figured out corporate doesn’t have a number so I called them back asking for a refund or any kind of store credit since me and my family come here all the time (especially since an employee said that they could do something like that for me). But the manager said no since the food was made and told me he would talk to his boss and call me back in an hour and like I expected he never called me back. My family and I spend so much money here but they still want to get greedy...
