Firstly, when walking in the restaurant, it was ABSOLUTELY filthy. Fries on the floor, used napkins, disgusting. Secondly, no one was at the counter, we waited about 5-10 minutes before we were even acknowledged even despite the fact that the cashier looked out of the kitchen and saw us and two other parties waiting to be served NUMEROUS times before coming out to take our order. I frequent this location a lot and have dealt with this particular cashier three times already and she always has a bad attitude an uncaring demeanor every time I’ve interacted with her. She moves around with no urgency to help customers, and has a bad demeanor and work ethic in general. We placed our order and waited, waited, and waited for TWENTY MINUTES before my boyfriend (Who works in food and understands how things are) went to ask an ETA on our food. When asked what our number was, they proceeded to go to the kitchen and pick up our order that was sitting, already ready, over where drive thru orders are placed (despite us having a carry out order) meaning we waited for no reason for who knows how long when our order was already ready because it was placed in the wrong spot due to complete negligence in the kitchen. Other things I would like to mention, we witnessed another customer who waited longer than we had who was visibly upset and refused to leave the kitchen doorway because he was so upset about his food not being ready yet, no one seemed that urgent to remedy the situation to the point where the man went back to sit down in frustration because he was still waiting for ONE order for himself. When we walked in, they were dealing with a customer that (apparently from what I gathered) was missing half his meal! I also witnessed an employee almost drop a customer’s order of fries, which he caught and put back in the container, WITH HIS HANDS, and then served to a customer. The last thing I would like to mention, is that several employees absolutely WREAKED of weed. I’m personally a supporter of legalization and have no issues with what anyone does in their own spare time, AT HOME. But if your employees are so stoned that they can’t do their job THAT badly, there is a problem. I attempted to contact someone about my experience, leaving my cell phone and leaving my email twice. Read moreOn Sunday, October 6th 2025, around 9:15 p.m. I experienced very terrible and poor Customer Service and the most unprofessional, evil behavior and unexperienced very young group of employees. I drove up to the Drive-Thru at this location and placed an order for 2 Hamburger Combos and I paid total price around $23.00 with specific instructions. Unfortunately, this very young lady or maybe teenager was very incompetent and not able take my order accurately, after I repeated my order numerous of times. Then, when after I received my order it was still incorrect. This other young lady or maybe teenager by the name of Ms. Johanna that brought out the order to my car became very rude and had a nasty attitude and said she didn’t care and walked away rolling her eyes wickedly, when I explained to her that my order was still incorrect. Also, afterwards, when I proceeded to complain at the Drive Thru window a young group of employees actually all them started laughing inside and proceeded to slam close the window in my face, when I complained about my order. In addition, the food wasn’t that good. I hadn’t eaten at this particular Whataburger location on Pearland Parkway in a year or maybe months. However, the service was better during that period. And, I assume they previously had professional adult like competent employees (workers) who cared about servicing their Whataburger customers and doing their job correctly and accurately. Sadly, the prices for food at Whataburger are very pricey and this type of conduct from employees should not be accepted or tolerated!!! And, obviously this is a reflection of Whataburger’s Management Team!!! Going forward, customers beware allegedly of this particular shady location either Franchise or Corporate Entity. Read moreDuring my visit on 1/3/24, I encountered an exceptionally rude cashier named Joel A. When I requested extra condiments, and a fresh large fry. he displayed a hostile attitude, citing a policy of only allowing two per order. Joel A. not only cut me off when I tried to explain that I was willing to pay for additional packets but also exhibited disrespectful and rude behavior throughout the interaction. I would really like to know why he was so bothered.
Also, the ongoing issue of unacceptable wait times, let me give you some context the last 2 times I was there I waited over 20 minutes for a simple order of fries. thats crazy. Again i ordered and asked for fresh fries and they were the most flaccid potatoes ive ever seen (pic is attached)
In addition to the service problems, I have noticed a consistent shortage on product during my last visits in the past 30 days. So i dont understand why customers have to give yall grace and patience when you all cant do the same. Even when I requested two extra packets of freakin ketchup, I was abruptly cut off and not heard by the staff. He legit said 2 per order and walked to the back and never came back
I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and overall experience at Whataburger Restaurant 1141, particularly this time due to Joel A.'s disrespectful behavior and my soggy, flacid, old fries. I would ask for a response but ive never got one when i have contacted you all before. I would suggest training the staff in customer service, but i think you all know that this is the worst location on planet earth, and maybe the galaxy.
