Went Friday 12/8 at 6:00 pm. Ordered the large Cheesesteak and medium fries. It was $17.38 which in my opinion is overpriced, but that's not nearly what I am complaining about. If I can help it, I will probably never go to Penn Station again. When I walked in, I noticed wrappers and sauce cups on the floor like the place hadn't been cleaned since yesterday. I got in line and I didn't know where to stand. I don't get why I order and pay for my food from different people on two different ends. It doesn't seem more efficient. When I went to look at the menu, the prices were listed away from the food item. It seems intentional to distract the customer from the price. When I placed my name for the order, they spelled it wrong, even after I said it twice. The employees were using one drinking fountain to fill customer's drinks, instead of keeping one behind the counter. Incredibly inefficient, plus it prevents customer access. Got my food to go, and it was fine. Standard wait time. I was eating the fries on the drive home. When I got home, I was halfway done, I saw a plastic piece in the middle of my cup. It could not have gotten there from me, I had nothing like it in my car, and I didn't order a drink or anything with plastic. Plus, it was in the middle of the cup. I do not know whose responsibility this was. I do not necessarily want them fired but retrained. The person who handed me my food was named Ayana, and I am unsure of who was handling my potatoes, but it was their job to ensure that there was no plastic in my food. You have lost a customer. I now plan on buying all of my dinner sandwiches from Super Subby's of Vandalia like I should have done originally. I should have trusted my system.

Stopped into the Penn Station in Huber Heights, Ohio, yesterday at 11:00 am. Their lemonade is still one of my favorites. I ordered a small Philly Steak and Cheese, no mayo mustard instead. Had the mushrooms, onions, and mild banana peppers. The taste was great, however, I am not a fan of the bread not holding up to the contents. Hoagie/sub bun was not able to contain the filling. My fries were a little over fried, but I am a fan of tatter skin on my fries. My husband got the Rueben. He enjoyed the flavor, but ingredients were not evenly distributed. Some bites contained kraut while others did not. The service was good, a little slow, but it could be because they had just opened and not all the crew had arrived yet. All in all, it was a pretty good lunch and I would stop by this location again.

On our Ohio TuesDayTrips this week, we stopped here for carry out of five Cheesesteaks and a couple fries. These we took to a park for a picnic. The fries got a bit cool and soft but that was to be expected. The cheesesteaks came out of the wrappers with the same great flavor as always. And were still warm. Super delicious! The service we received was very good. And it was good to see folks able to dine-in again.

Update I have eaten at Penn Station twice since my original review. I think dining in makes a difference. My food was hot, fresh and satisfying. The food prep area needed attention....not dirty just messy from previous food orders.

Penn Station in Huber used to be my favorite fast food restaurant. I have gone there for years. The last two times in a span of 6 months....favorite....not so much. It always looked clean....now not so much. The food has always been good....now not so much. My visit there on 3/3/25 was very disappointing. After going down the list of what I dont want and want(lettuce, tomatoes, cooked onions, raw onions, banana peppers, pickles, provolone cheese) on a Grilled Vege Sub....I still get home to find lettuce and raw onions missing and very few tomatoes. Instead of the open faced sub with plenty of veges that I used to receive. I got a sub with very little veges that looked like it was glued shut with cheese. Hello Supervisors and...

My son and I went to lunch at 11 am. We walked in expecting a "Hi". Nothing. The man cooking ask what we wanted with no expression at all. We ordered 2 whole sandwiches and 2 lg fries. We moved to the end to pay. There were 4 people working in the galley. They talked to each other. We paid, got our drinks, condiments etc. The area was not clean and there was only 1 bottle of malt vinegar half full. We sat down and was looking around while waiting for our food. The floor was streaky. The food came and the female employee could have had better hygiene. I also noticed the young male employee cutting vegetables on the counter. He reached in his pocket, grabbed his phone, looked at it , swiped it and put it back in his pocket. He never changed his gloves and proceeded to continue to cut the veggies. The sandwich was great but half the fries were under cooked. If we didn't spend nearly $50, I would have left. I really once loved this place....
