The sales experience was GREAT Fred Paschal Took great care of us. He listened and answered all our questions. Then after the purchase , he went through all we should expect upon delivery. That's when to problems started. Delivery was awful !!!
I want this email to go to Fred Paschael. He sold us the washer and told us what to expect upon delivery.
First: The delivery tracker at 4:00 pm, said we were #11 and they were on delivery #9. The estimated delivery time was 5:30. That sounded reasonable. They got here at 7:00 pm. The two delivery men DID NOT SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND ENGLISH ?!?!?! Why would you send your products out for delivery and hook up with people that could not communicate with the general public that they were delivering your products to? It was our understanding that the delivery team would level and connect the water and drain lines AND THEN run a test cycle to make sure all ran OK and there were no problems NONE OF THIS WAS DONE! Below is the sequence of events that happened during the delivery: I asked about connecting the water lines and the guy (don't know his name-No name tag) said "Deliver only" The other guy (don't know his name-No name tag) wanted to drop the washer at the dooe and not move it 4-feet into position, until I insisted several times. But he did not understand what I wanted so the first guy has to explain (in their language) I asked if the first guy was going to level the washer and he just shook the washer and "It OK" I asked a second and third time. He finally shouted out to the second guy and the first guy came in with a magnetic level which he placed on the FRONT of the machine, NOT THE TOP. I told him "You don't know what you are doing" and he said again "Deliver only" I said "Go away. Get out of here!". He handed me an electronic device and said "Sign here". I asked "What's this for?". He said "Delivery" I signed with my finger and he and his partner got in the truck and left This morning I read the instructions and leveled the washer then installed the water and drain hoses according to the instructions then plugged in the washer. The water is on and there are no leaks. I believe the connections are sound

Read moreUpdated July 21, 2025. Had an issue with my fridge. Repair completed. Update March 20 2023. Everything has been completed. The appliances are working great. Update August 8, 2022. We are still waiting. The delivery department was going to get with Management to address the damage to our home. That was well over a month ago. Still no response. Store Management was going to get with the Service Department to address the damage to our range drawer and refrigerator handles. That was well over a month ago. Still no response. We purchased a 4 piece appliance set from the Huber Heights, OH location a couple months ago. They not only delivered 2 of the pieces damaged, but they also did some damage to our home bringing them inside. After speaking with our Salesman, he requested photos of the damage. We promptly sent the photos requested. We were told several times that everything had been submitted to Management and we waited patiently. After another month went by, we emailed the Corporate office and let them know of the situation and requested a response and resolution. The General Manager from the Huber Heights location called and left a message the next day. We returned his call and was told he was with a customer and would call back. That was almost 2 weeks ago. We still have not heard back from him. We also sent another email to the Corporate office requesting a resolution to our problems and concerns. Again, we have heard no response. If this is what the call "Customer Service", they should be ashamed of themselves. This has been a major inconvenience to us. We still have damaged appliances sitting in our kitchen. We also still have damage to both the inside and outside...
Read morePicking a mattress feels like an overwhelming task but Carrie made it a wonderful experience. She was very patient and kind. She is very knowledgeable about all the options. We never felt pressured and she never made us feel rushed. We got great pricing. The 120 day trial gives us peace of mind that if we aren’t happy with the mattress we have the option of switching it for a different one. We would definitely buy from Big Sandy’s again and would absolutely ask for Carrie to take care of us! Update 6 months later-we were in the market for another mattress and adjustable platform and returned to the same store. We were so happy to see Carrie’s smiling face greeting us as we headed to that department! She remembered us and we had another wonderful experience. She gave us lots of valuable information to help us make our decision. She is very patient and kind. It is obvious that she enjoys her job and that makes the experience even better. We will always do our best to go to her first whenever we are in need of a mattress or bedding products!!! Update-in need of a fridge this time. We stopped at Lowe’s first and while the young man there was helpful and knowledgeable, it was obvious in the first few minutes of talking to Stephen at Big Sandy’s, that he even more knowledgeable and able to help us navigate the decision making process. He was never pushy and the prices were very comparable. Their service package also adds value to choosing Big Sandy’s over another store.
