Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Hudson

We arrived early on a Saturday morning. The place was pretty empty so we were served quickly. The worker seemed less than thrilled to be at work.

I ordered a pepper bacon breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. I was frustrated to learn the sandwich came with some type of spread on it (presumably cream cheese?). There was no mention of this on the menus. I scraped it off the best I could, however it overall left me feeling frustrated. At least the bagel was good.

The worker asked us if we wanted “hash-browns,” to which we said sure. I wouldn’t say it was hash-browns, rather ONE hash-brown more as a casserole style patty mixed with cheese.

I am a Brueggers fan and frequent flyer at the Stow eatery. Unlike the Stow and Brecksville Brueggers, which I think are fast, friendly and accurate,.U cannot say the same recently for the Hudson one. I have been in there for 20 min.with only one person in front of me on a early Sat. They ordered a doz.and a sandwich. The person behind me left. There were 3 women who I could see attending. One seemed to be only cashier and cleaning. I was late for work then. This has happened before within the month. Very very very slow. Can't seem to do more than one thing. It has always been that way but definitely worse recently. Check it out...

Undeniably, Bruegger's has the best bagels around but man, no matter how many times I visit this location, the manager (possibly the owner for all I know) is always super crabby. She's short when speaking to her staff and totally unfriendly to the customers. She stomps around as if it's an inconvenience to have to do anything for anyone.

Serious change of attitude needed. Maybe that's why there's such a high turnover of employees at this location.

On a positive note, it's nice to see that customers are finally allowed to sit at the tables again. It's been a downer for however many years they've had...
