Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting the Hudson branch of Dave’s Cosmic Subs during a trip, and it was a fantastic experience that lived up to its reputation. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a funky, retro vibe with groovy decor that instantly sets the tone for a unique dining experience.

The menu offered a variety of creative and generously portioned subs. I tried the “Dave’s Original Cosmic Sub”, and it was packed with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meats, and their signature cosmic sauce that ties everything together beautifully. The bread was fresh and slightly toasted, adding the perfect crunch to every bite.

The staff was friendly and efficient, despite the lunchtime rush. They made sure every order was prepared to perfection and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed.

The Hudson location itself was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating options. The outdoor seating was a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy our meal while taking in the fresh air.

Ordered online thru doordash and had to pick up myself. Arrived only to be told they saw the order but didn't see it when the "order ready for pickup" messaged was sent to me. So had to wait while thy prepared our food. Got home and they didn't give me what I had ordered even though they were yelling back and forth to one another what the other should be making for my order. The service aspect appeared that gossiping amongst shelves took precedence over making sure my order was made correctly. Won't be going back considering they were the closest location and I had to drive 20 minutes to get there....

Great subs! Love the dirty brand chips! Pickles are great most of the time and depending on what time you go your bread will be fresh and warm!! Overall great food with an iconic rock atmosphere!! A great place for the whole family. I have noticed a decline in the sandwiches with the new girls working.

Update: this place sold and fell far! Orders all wrong! Prices up, kids menu gone. Sorry to take this spot off of our local lunch routine. Couldn’t understand when I ordered so we went back and forth to get the order correct and it...
