Not my favorite.... It's one of the few places open late in Hudson. That's pretty much the only redeeming quality this bar has. I avoid Kepners whenever possible. EDIT: I'm adding a comment since Kepner's Tavern commented on this review.... let me be more specific: THIS BAR IS TRASHY. I happened to visit the night before Thanksgiving -- which has a tradition of hosting all Hudson High School graduates for a multi-class reunion of sorts. I understand that this yearly tradition brings out a rowdy crowd. I get it. Normally, Kepner's doesn't host as many underage bar guests who are falling down drunk, guys peeing in the sinks in the men's restroom, etc..... however, that's not the reason for my disliking of Kepner's. I have 2 reasons that I have disliked Kepner's over the years: 1. The clientele are the scum of Hudson.... yanno... like the trashy alcoholic types of individuals who get drunk at the bar every night. The clientele are gross, and it's a turn-off. 2. The bartenders are also trashy. The two young female bartenders in the main bar were doing shots and smoking weed vapes all night. Sure, their energy "matches" their clientele. And that's exactly why I don't like this place. If I want to stay out late, I much prefer Brubaker's on Darrow Rd in Hudson. It's much more chill and classy. The bartenders are friendly yet professional. My friends enjoy their bourbon selection. And, Brubaker's doesn't seem to attract as many degenerate bar guests. Just my two cents.

The Fat Pat for the win! That burger is magnificent! I was also glad to see that they had a beer from our favorite Akron brewery, R. Shea Brewing. Supporting local is in style. Place was packed, but we didn't have to wait long for anything. Good food, good beer, and Jessica (our server) was busy, but breezing around that place without skipping a beat. Thanks Jessica, and thank you Kepner's. See you again real soon!

Talk about a fun place during the holidays! Waitress was fast and friendly. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which was given the wrong one, and made it incorrectly. However, it was good. Festive drinks and desserts!

I really liked Kepner's the first few times I was there. The food was fresh, the beer selection is decent and rotates. The service was average. The first time I visited, I got the fish and chips, which I use as sort of a litmus test for the kitchen. It was perfect, spot-on, the first time. However, a couple weeks ago I again ordered the fish, but it was off. The waitress said that the normal chef had quit just recently. I should have sent it back, but I was too hungry to wait. I ate about 1/3 of it, and later spent the night puking my guts out. I don't think there's any way for me to prove that I got sick from the fish, but I'm pretty sure I did. Still, it was just fish, and I was willing to give them another shot. This missive has been long enough already, but to summarize, last night even though the waitress was personable and nice, the service was bad and amateurish and the kitchen got my order wrong. The atmosphere and decor is great, and I like the place, but it seems that the management is slacking off to let the quality...

Called in a pick up order , what a disappointment this place is. I don’t mind spending the money , but if you’re going to up charge you should be serving quality food. All I got was a burger and boneless wings and fries with 6 chicken wings. Fries were the only thing that was good. Burger was not well done as I asked it was very pink. The boneless wings were hard and were horrible, and the chicken wings had barely any meat on them and tasted like they weren’t completely done. Couldn’t even eat them . I was charged 65.00 for this and it was worth maybe 20 dollars. Like I said I don’t mind spending the money., but for quality food. It’s sad that the restaurant industry has become a low quality industry. And they gave me only two sauces for all the chicken I got. This was definitely the first and the last time i will ever eat here. Do...
