Milwaukee Burger Company — Restaurant in Hudson

It's been a tradition for the last 3 years that we go to Milwaukee Burger for my birthday. Always a great place to eat The food was always awesome and the staff always friendly.. this year when we arrived I was sad to see that their menu had been cut in half if not even more they usually had two pages of burgers on their menu now their menu is a simple sheet with front and back with a burgers only take up half the sheet on the back for a place called The Burger company you would think they would have more choices. The burger I have religiously for my birthday every year had been removed It's their challenge burger. Eight patties It was a fun little thing to do I never fully finished it but it was always nice to bring home a couple patties for the dogs. Now on to the good and the bad. The good: appetizers is always for fantastic probably the best cheese curds I've ever had, My wife is usual got one of your bloody Marys which she loves. The staff has always was attentive and very friendly

The Bad: I picked another burger since they didn't have the one that I normally get and it was okay at best, fairly dry, not a lot of flavor. My wife ordered the truffle burger, she had ordered it medium well. What she got was a hockey puck on a bun. After two bites she just set it aside now the staff was nice enough to take it off the bill but you guys went from one of our favorite places to a place that I don't think I would go again unless it's just for drinks and appetizers.

I know it's tough for the restaurant industry right now and you just have to adapt but you went from a burger place that I recommended to everybody to were now I don't think I would.

Will give it some time and maybe try you again here down the road but I hope you guys fix whatever is going on and honestly I hope you bring back the burger challenge It was a lot of fun and a...

Not sure where to begin. We come here pretty often, and we really like their food, atmosphere and the service. Never had a single issue until yesterday.

I ordered a burger with cajun fries, when i received my food, it looked like cooks just dumped a whole can of cajun seasoning on top of the fries and fries were STONE cold. I asked our waitress to ask cooks make a different fries with just a tiny bit of cajun seasoning. Then the manager named Courtney brought the SAME fries, just dipped into fryer for a minute and even MORE cajun seasoning. I asked them to completely remake the food with no seasoning at all. I also asked to speak to the manager, not knowing that the second person was in fact the manager. She approached me and my question was “When you hire your cooks, do you ask for any experience or maybe education?” Her answer was “No we do not” leaning forward on our table and talking to me like i am her child. She also tried to throw the waitress under the bus by saying “She didn’t specify the amount of seasoning” and she also tried to make me look stupid by saying “they just tossed the fries thats why there is so much seasoning” when clearly it was the same exact fries just warmed up in the same fryer for a minute.

Courtney if you are reading this- Manager looks like manager and lives up to it when it comes to your guests. Remember, we are the reason you get paid there. Guests.

I am writing this review out of concern. Check your bank statements if you have eaten here recently! The patty melt was delicious but not enough to fix the mess that was created by this place. Our server was clearly overwhelmed maybe new as well so I don't put this fully on the server. One of our meals was messed up and needed to be completely redone, annoying but ok. The issue was that when I got my bill, not only did we not get any type of discount for the inconvenience and wait. They charged us twice for the messed up meal and extra for something else we didn't order. The server fixed the bill and I did tip because I understood the server is only as good as there support and they had little. I thought all was well until i noticed my bank account was low, they put the total in as the tip. so I paid $90 for a $40 meal that wasn't even done right the first time. They did refund the amount they put as the tip but that was it. We did decline gift cards from one person we talked to as we don't live close and have no want or need to ever go back. I feel like they acted like this was no big deal and did not handle this the best way. I just want to put this as a cautionary tale as I hope this didn't happen to anyone else but find it hard to believe it did just happen to me. This has changed the way I pay my bills at restaurants, I will now be taking a picture of all of my receipts with the amount that I tipped...
