This is my favorite place. The GM, Kass our waitress tonight, and the woman in the butcher area I didn't catch her name but all are so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The people are part of the reason I love this place so much. The dining experience is always great. The meat we get here all the time is phenomenal. Never have been disappointed. They often have a great 50% off freezer bin that is always a great deal. The only thing that would make this place better is if you switched from using oils to using lard esp for frying. That would be truly a welcomed change. And adding a loyalty program for people that come all the time. Yeah some things can get expensive but it's pasture raised meat and local...like it's the best you can get. That is not cheap to provide, nor should it be the same price as your average low grade supermarket meat. I even eat some of this meat raw and I would not do that with anything from the grocery store. I am SO glad and so blessed we have access to this high quality, more nutritious food. Major thanks to Brunty Farms & The Farmers Rail for bringing this to our community. Added some pics of restaurant food but most of the time we come here for the meat! ETA: HOW COULD I FORGET! They have the best carrot cake you'll ever have in your life. I'm telling you. They even have it GF from a local baker. This GF carrot cake is life changing.

Me and the wife like trying new places and this one popped up in our search. One nice thing is the menu is small so there is a limited amount of options which allows the restaurant to focus on those instead of a 100 different items. Now the streak selection is nice. Down fall is im.not a big mashed potato fan and asked of I could do fries and the waitress said they dont like swapping sides. I dont get the reason behind it. We started with the stuffed peppers those were super good . It was time to order the entree and I got the burger with truffle fries. Both were super good. The burger was a tad bit greasy but still good. Wife got the beef and perogies . She loved them and I even had a taste and it was very flavorful. The waitress was really freidndly always filling drinks and checking on us. There was a gentlemen I assume manager he stopped by and was friendly and informative bout the restaurant in the falls being updated. Over all we definitely will be back. If your on the bubble and want a unique place with tons of drink options try here. Make this your next date night with your significant other.

I really love that this restaurant is far to table and they own their own farm and butcher. However, the quality control needs a major revamp. We ordered brussels sprouts and had a potato in it. It’s not supposed to have any potatoes. I ordered a full berry salad with salmon on top and I noticed there was some blue in the cheese which I am allergic to blue cheese. It had blue cheese on it at least that’s what I was told or moldy cheese. They remade the salad and it was really a half a salad not a full salad I will take a photo. I’ve ordered their stuffed peppers many times in the past same as they’re very salad. The stuffed peppers had a lot less cheese inside them. They just were made completely different and not as good as it has been in the past. I hate changing the review because I really love this restaurant for its farm to table, but they need to get better at their quality control. As I ate my peppers, they were full of seeds. Stuffed pepper should have the seeds removed.

We had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant recently, and I must say that my experience was made absolutely exceptional by Lyndsey, an extraordinary server who went above and beyond to ensure a truly memorable evening. From the moment we were greeted with a warm smile to the final moments of the meal, Lyndsey's professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine passion for her work were evident.

Lyndsey's exceptional service began with her extensive knowledge of the menu. She effortlessly guided us through the array of delectable options, providing insightful recommendations and patiently answering all my questions. Her genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine shone through, and her passion for her craft was contagious.

Throughout the evening, Lyndsey's attentiveness was simply outstanding. She anticipated our needs before we even had to voice them, ensuring that our drinks were never empty and that each dish was served promptly and at the perfect temperature. Her ability to strike a perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our meal was truly remarkable.

What truly set Lyndsey apart was her warmth and genuine care for her guests. It was evident that she took great pride in ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Her friendly demeanor and engaging conversation made us feel welcome and valued as a guest. She effortlessly created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall enjoyment of the evening.

In addition to her exceptional skills as a server, Lyndsey possessed an inherent ability to read the mood and needs of her guests. She knew precisely when to offer assistance, when to engage in light-hearted conversation, and when to provide a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Her ability to adapt and personalize her service to each individual made the evening truly special.

Overall, our dining experience was made truly outstanding thanks to Lyndsey's exceptional service. She is an exemplary server who possesses an incredible blend of professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth. Her passion for her work and dedication to creating a remarkable dining experience were evident throughout the evening. We cannot recommend Lyndsey highly enough, and we are grateful for the privilege of being served by such an...

My husband and I finally had a date night without our children on Tuesday night. We went right when they opened at 5pm and there were only two other tables filled. We placed our drink order (harvest mule was delicious) and wanted the french onion dip appetizer. Our waitress told us it wasn't prepped and would be about a half hour wait. We then ordered the braised beef egg rolls. Our waitress came back and said they also would be awhile. By this time, 10 minutes had already passed so we thought 20 more minutes for what we originally wanted would be fine. At 5:40, our waitress came over and said she personally cut the onions and they were just put on the grill. We decided to hold off on ordering our burgers because they still had open tables at this point and burgers normally take at most 15 minutes. Around 6pm, all tables were full and our waitress seemed stressed. Our dip was brought over at 6:10 (an hour after originally told 30 minutes) by a gentleman who was probably the manager. We had to stop our waitress to order our burgers before all of the newly sat tables ordered their food because we knew we were running low on time for our babysitter. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes and only received drinks and our dip before we asked for our check.

I am not certain what happens between 4pm and 5pm when the restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner but management needs to look into prepping their ingredients ahead of 5pm. Our meal with prepped ingredients should have been 75-90 minutes from start to finish. Instead, a couple who was really excited was now disappointed (and hungry) and held up a table that could have been turned over. This situation did not benefit anyone involved and hopefully, will be a learning experience for...

This place was so much better a few months ago when it was a butcher shop and deli/market (with a good amount of dine-in seating as well) before it went full-on restaurant, downplaying its butcher shop and removing altogether the fresh meat cases and deli and so forth in the recent remodel and re-layout. (Although I suspect the conversion into a typical, mainstream theme restaurant is more lucrative.) Now it’s not much different from any other run-of-the-mill, medium to high end casual restaurant with a rustic theme; it lost much of its uniqueness and ambience. The new bourbon bar in the back is very nice; would have been a lovely addition to the old place. Now, you can’t sit at the main bar and watch them cook anymore, which was always fun and interesting, and brought the staff closer to the clientele, and they got rid of their (outstanding) charcuterie boards because, they explained, they don’t have the fresh meat cases anymore; those super-fresh and versatile/customizable charcuterie boards used to be an excellent thing to sit and snack on with wine, bourbon, etc. The place used to be much cozier, more unique, more personalized, and have a better vibe. Now it’s just another place to eat (with more tables than it used to have, but less specialness). We used to stop in there all the time because it had a unique vibe to it; now we still go there from time to time, but it’s just another restaurant in the rotation, nothing we seek out anymore for the experience. Food is good, but more commonplace; service is fine, but less of a personal experience with the chefs and bar tenders and manager; ambience, rustic coziness and uniqueness are not gone entirely but largely - and...
