THIS PLACE STEALS FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! They deserve 0 stars!
On Sunday August 19th, 2024. Myself and two guest had lunch at the Brewingz in Humble. Our total came to be $92.20. We had two forms of payment, a $50 visa gift card and a credit card. Our server, Adrian was instructed to charge the $50 gift card first and then pay the remaining of $42.20 on the credit card. After everything was paid the receipt stated that the credit card was charged $52.20 which was very confusing. I checked my balance for the gift card and only had $2 for my remaining balance. Still, $48 and 52.20 add up to $100.20. So where is this hidden $8 charge coming from?? I then checked the transaction history for the gift card and come to find out that there was two $24 charges made from BreWingZ. I asked Adrian to explain why were the amounts not matching and an explanation. He then said that he charged the gift card two $20 transactions along with a $10 charge, equaling to $50. He then came back with a different story saying he only charges the gift card $40. Of course his story did not answer our questions so then a manager was requested. A couple minutes pass and Lily came over. She then showed me what all was charged on a device. She showed me that my gift card was charged $20 two times and then the remaining balance was charged on the credit card for $52.20. I then asked where is the $8 that was mysteriously charged as well because my visa gift card was charged two $24 charges. She then made me feel like I was crazy and blamed it on the visa gift card charging “hidden fees”. The gift card does not charge any fees and the balance was $50 prior to arriving to the restaurant. The conversation with her got no where and it was very clear she did not want to help nor figure it out. We left the restaurant and I called the restaurant and asked to speak to her. I told her to show me the receipts for the two charges on the gift card and she still kept giving me the run around. I told her I knew Adrian tipped himself $4 on both of those $20 charges. After being denied the receipts for those, I knew that’s what he did. She then said she could reimburse me $10. Why reimburse me any money if you continue to deny any fault?? Why not show me the proof that has the evidence from what he did. Adrian stole from me and she covered it up. I then told her that we needed a full refund from what he did. He stole $8 from me and thought we would not notice. She said she will under no circumstance refund me because I was upset. Who wouldn’t be upset?? I was robbed and made out to be crazy when asking for an explanation. I cannot believe a place that I truly enjoyed did this to me. I can’t believe someone would do that to paying customers who work so hard for their money. Adrian would have received a bigger tip if he had not done that.. this is absolutely outrages and I still can’t wrap my head around what was done to us by the BreWingZ in Humble. Read moreTHIEVES!!! This place steals from customers. I was here last night and my total was $67.19 for 4 people. I left a $3 tip on my card and placed a $10 bill on the table for my server because I didn’t have quite enough on that card to put the whole $13 tip on my card. I check my bank account this morning and they charged me $81.19 I was placed on hold for 14 minutes to speak with a manager about this issue, 6 minutes into the hold the girl came back to the phone and said “the manager is asking what the purpose of the call is” I told her my card was overcharged last night and was placed back on hold for 8 more minutes and now am being told the manager is in a “meeting” and will call me when she is available. I just want to know where my $10 magically went. It’s not much, but this isn’t the first or second time they have done this to me. I’ve come to this location about 15 times in the last year and ALWAYS have an issue. Last time I was there I paid my bill without looking over the receipt and then when they brought the card receipt back for me to sign, I noticed there was an $8 charge for a beer. That night it was only my boyfriend and I eating and neither of us drink nor did we order a beer. I asked the server about it and 35 minutes later he told me that next time we come in we will get a discount. Never got that discount either. So now in the last 3 months this establishment has stolen $18 from me. I feel as though the server or whoever does the receipts at closing turned my “3.00” tip into a “13.00” tip after I left cash on the table. That’s a $23 tip for a $67 bill ( a 35% tip for very basic service. No refills on drinks, no forks, our server checked on us once and our server isn’t even the one that brought our food to us.) Read moreAlways slow, even when I order, the food quality is terrible, no one from the greeter to the cashiers are professional, they are always goofing around with each other versus having the attention focused on the customer infront of you. Now today I ordered curbside, and I always chose to pay at register, today I call it in and the young lady answers my call and states that my food is not ready but will run it out to me once it is out, cool that's awesome call disconnects, then I get a call back saying my food was ready however I had to come inside to pay for my food, that just defeats the point of curbside and why today of all times did I have to come in and oay when someone always comes out takes my card runs it, and I sign my recipt as usual, now today she states I have to go in and pay for it, lolz to funny, that just sounds like you don't wanna get cold today ma'am, terrible customer service, I sincerely wish I could give a (0) star review. Hiring manager needs to do a better job at hiring these so call "professionals" I my self work in customer service and what it is expected of me must be fulfill at all causes no exceptions, I get it, maybe you might not be happy about what you do on your day to day for a job, but do something about it, don't just go in and destroy your companies customer service.
