I just want to start with this is the first truly negative review I have ever left. This dominos has a new policy to not deliver after 5pm to my area due to a driver being towed. I'm very upset with the new policy. As a person who has delivered food for over a year with other apps I have insight. So I've been ordering from this location since I moved to Humble,TX in 9/2019. I've had 3 issues but never wrote a review until now. I've always tipped & I live pretty close but I prefer delivery.So I live at BenderHollow apts in Humble and I recently found out the District Manager has decided to no longer deliver to my location after 5pm because of a driver who mistakenly parked in a spot they shouldn't have and were towed. I don't understand why the District Manager is punishing the customer for their employee not observing the rules. My complex has towed my roommate before and it was unfortunate but she realized her error parking in a reserved spot and no longer makes that mistake. There are signs for a reason. Out of the 100+ drivers who have delivered to me none have been towed. Actually my apt is rather convenient and I on many occasions have assisted drivers who failed to read my directions on which entrance to come into & even met them to make it easier because as a previous food service worker and driver I understand going where your not familiar with or having a deadline to deliver food. The real reason I'm upset tho is not necessarily the refusal to deliver it's actually because the website allowed me to make a transaction and stated I could have food delivered with my card. So I put in the tip, delivery charge and cost of food and then was later informed due to the new policy which is not listed on the website that I wasn't allowed to have my food delivered at 5:15pm. So since I'm a bit strapped on cash and also that ordered included a free pizza since I've been a pretty loyal customer for 2yrs+. The manager whom I spoke with told me I could provide feed back directly to the DM with 1-800-Dominos.. Well I called the number and it just told me to call the store. No voicemail or customer service personnel. And then it hung up on me. So apparently the only way I can provide feedback is giving this store 1star. District Manager I hope you respond to this. Remove the curfew or ban our area all together because I personally don't like having my money on hold because your site failed to inform me of your policy. Basically false advertisement. Read moreI just received my order for the feta spinach cheese bread and the jalapeño pineapple chicken. Let me tell you it was more than upsetting. Ive never had a problem wirh this location, but today! First, the items came out looking not only nothing like the picture, they were actually terribly made and burnt. Second, I called the location to ask what happened, and they not only were cold and rude, but they said that their GM was the one who made the order, and that it was made to their store's standards. He offered to make it again if I bought it back, but I said what is the point since it would just be made the same way again. They refused to give me a refund, even if I returned the product, and they refusedto be shown the puctures that I took. Like - seriously!? What kind of business is it where you don't even have to try, you treat the customers like they're bothering you, and you get the cold shoulder? I just want my money back. I even pre-tipped $5. Read moreSo let me start off by saying, I completely understand being understaffed now and then but this location seems to ALWAYS be understaffed. Jonathan the guy making the orders is doing everything on his own and is VERY VISIBLY frustrated, to the point where he is rude and snapping at customers. Today I waited 30 mins for a order of 1 pizza and the app still had no update, only that the pizza was still being prepared (not even in the oven yet) so i politely asked if i could cancel my order being that I had been waiting on the lobby for close to 15mins without even being greeted. He asked what was my name when I asked to cancel and he threw his arms up and said your pizza is coming out now! Very rudely. I told him how am I to know that when there’s no info on the app and he says well I’m only one person! Which again I understand but that shouldn’t be taken out on a customer that just wanted to make a purchase and was told on the app their pizza wouldn’t take more than 18mins.
