Usually good service but not this morning was annoying. I’m on a pretty tight schedule and was making stride earlier than usually. I stop to get a smoothie and the line was longer than usual, I guess because I came earlier than usual.
After making my way to the speaker they tell me the card machine was down. I was pisses because there was no sign forewarning me of this. They said I could take receive my order if I hsbc cash, of course I didn’t. I asked about Apple Pay and she says it was wasn’t working. There was an awkward silent and she asked did I still want the order. I said no because I don’t have cash. She said “ok”. I was like, “well, I have no cash and now I’m stuck”. I was visibly annoyed but didn’t take it out on her.
She said, “I’ll get you a medium on the house, sorry”. Now this is a great business practice. I was still annoyed but feeling better.
I drive to the window to only be greeted with a price. I was confused and let the older lady know that the person on the speaker said it was “on the house”. She said the price and again and said she can “try the card processor”. I repeated that I was told it was on the house and she in a hurry ask me to let her try it. I refused to argue, paid and left.

I placed my order and repeated it twice 32 once Gladiator with double strawberry. When I arrived at the window to pay the employee hands me a small. I informed her that it was incorrect and she said you ordered a small I said no, I repeated myself twice to you. She displayed an attitude and became unfriendly immediately. She remade the smoothie and brought it to the window. I asked her for my receipt, and she stated she threw it away. I asked her why would she do this before asking if I wanted my receipt? She said I don’t know, so you assumed I didn’t want my receipt! I asked her to reprint it and she stated I don’t know how. I asked can I speak to a manager and she said manager left at noon! I asked her is there anyone else that can show you how to reprint the receipt, she said no. I informed her I would be filing a complaint for the level of service and the uncalled attitude. As we were trying to place our order, she kept saying "Is that all" in a tone that was very rude like she was rushing us. There were no cars behind us so we didn't understand why she was rushing us. My husband and I are visiting and we don't have Smoothie King so we are not familiar with the menu. When we asked questions about various menu items, Alexia offered little help and seemed agitated that we didn't know what we wanted. When we got to the window, Alexia never smiled or thanked us.
