Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

I always see horrible reviews and think oh maybe it was just a mistake and that person had a bad day, but nope, these bad reviews are legit! We made a Togo order and live across the street and the food was ice cold and nasty. My husband had to go to work so he called and said I would be coming to pick up the redo while he got ready for work and upon arrival I was told there not only was no redo ready that they were out of traditional wings and that it was not a redo for now it was for the next time we came!! What?!?! That’s hoping we come again!! He literally made the same order plus 10 more that we would pay for with the manager and they tried to turn me away! I waited at the front for a manager for 10min watching at least 10 staff walking around with no customers, I finally went to the bar asking what the heck was going on and Jocelyn stepped in and said what’s going on what can I do I explained my issue she said there were no traditional wings I said what about any other wings she said I have boneless I said perfect give me boneless my husband‘s hungry and has to go to work she said no problem I’ll have that for you in 5 to 10 minutes . She kept in touch with me two more times and had the order within 9 minutes! It wasn’t until 5 minutes after Jocelyn was helping me that the manager came and told me the order “will take at least 15 minutes that’s just how long it takes” and I said no worries she’s already helping me. Worst experience at a Buffalo Wild Wings!! I’ve been to other restaurants like this, but nothing like this has ever happened. Our waiter Kaitlyn was extremely rude and didn’t help us out at all. She was basically kicking us out before we even had our meal. The bill was handed to us before we even had our food. Not to mention the manager Ryan, I believe was his name, was starting an argument with us. We feel that it was with intent of a fist fight. We simply wanted to eat our food. We were told that the wait time to get a table was going to be ten minutes, it later turned into a thirty minute wait. We understand and were patient so we waited to be seated. Not long after us finally getting our table is that situation arose. We were also threatened with not showing back up at this restaurant or we would be thrown out. The manager said that he would do it himself. I do not recommend eating at this particular restaurant. The service was terrible. We were disrespected. It was a bit confusing, the way Kaitlyn was acting at first. She was not willing to help us, answer our questions and the service she gave us was terrible. Buffalo Wild Wings has always had a bad rep for me no matter which location it is. Their food is always hit or miss and the service is usually pretty bad. This location is not too bad. My husband and I enjoy coming to their bar for drinks, food - not so much. We only order food if we’re really hungry and want something small. Other than that it’s really just their bar experience we like. Jess was our favorite bartender but I’m not sure if she works there anymore since we haven’t seen her in our recent visits.

They used to have karaoke nights on Thursdays but I’m not sure if that’s still a thing here. My husband and I loved coming to get drinks and have some entertainment. The employees would usually get a turn on the mic to show off their singing abilities too. Pretty fun times!

The food is really subpar though. I usually get the medium boneless wings or the street tacos. Their chocolate fudge cake isn’t too bad either but I think it’s store bought anyways.

I’d honestly only come here for their drinks. Its usually less empty in the bar area anyways and the service seems to be quicker than if you’re seated in the main restaurant areas. 4 stars for a great bar experience! Just don’t expect much when it comes...
