Hummus Republic — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Hummus Republic, I'd been wanting to try you forever. You were on my Google want to go list! Sadly, you fell flat. Super slow experience. Non welcoming employees. After waiting behind three people, with only one employee working the front- she had a bad attitude too, someone finally came from the back to take our order. We told this girl it was our first time- literally, zero response. Say hello! Welcome to Hummus Republic! If you don't want to be there, why would I? The food was actually good... Aside from the falafel, which were cold and crazy salty. They say unlimited toppings, but I left with my bowl half full and the lack of enthusiasm to serve us made me not wish to request any more. I opted for this place over Cava because of the vegan beef (which was great) but given the experience- I'd prefer a place that serves less protein and more...

Used to go to the one in Chino until they closed down so i was excited to go to this location. I was disappointed with the service. The older male working there was barely putting any toppings in my bowl and then just left me standing there after paying, Did not put my bowl in a bag or give me utensils or my receipt just walked away to help someone else. The food is good but they need to work on their customer service and portions especially that we are paying $14 for a bowl. Definitely not the same as other locations.

I am soooo in love with the mushroom shwarma. I eat 90% plant-based and am trying to limit fried and grease.

I I wish restaurants would do falafel, etc in an air fryer, but whatever.

This place is a vegan dream! I got mushroom shwarma and got to pick out tons of full-power plant food fixings, like eggplant hummus, cabbage, onions, peppers and then a little feta (90% plant-based). SUPER satisfying and big enough to fill me up for lunch and dinner.
