We absolutely love SomiSomi. We normally go to the Garden Grove Blvd one but when we drove by and there were droves of people standing around outside we decided to try the Bella Terra one.

We admit that we now love this location more! The staff were amazing. They were so fast and they made everything fresh right in front of you. Sometimes at the GG one you can tell the Taiyaki were premade. Also, this location doesn't make the ice cream cave - you know, the hole in the middle that makes it seem like you're getting lots of soft serve but you're not.

Different swirls here than GG. They also have milk tea which is so much better than normal milk!

Really fresh, super tasty, incredibly fast and lots of room to order and then wait, not to mention that they are organized and you know exactly where you should be waiting!

We visisted Somi Somi on a windy day because of the kids' demand. The outside parking can be challenging in the weekend evening as the plaza is very popular with restaurants and stores. We were super lucky to get a spot immediately when enter the lot.

The line to order at Somi Somi was not long at all; however, the line for picking up was a different story. We followed the instructions on the board to place our ice cream orders, and was informed about the wait time for taiyaki as they were made freshly to order -- so most people waiting to pick up their food could be there for a while! Our ice cream orders were quickly fulfilled and we got to choose the toppings for them.
