Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Yikes. Where to start. Daughter ordered a strawberry lemonade. She was given a drink with SO MUCH strawberry syrup, the drink was not consumable. Ordered two 8 piece chicken nuggets. Simple enough, right? Got out to the car, one box had 6, the other had 6 nuggets and a small marble-sized ball of batter crust with no meat contained within, that maybe they were counting as a nugget? So, we’ll be generous and say 7 nuggets . Each nugget had one side that was wet and soggy. Went back in, told the counter attendant the situation, he looked back at the kitchen worker, looked back at us, and said, nope, there were 8. ????? My husband offered to pay for another 8 piece nugget, just so the kiddos had their full meal, and we were told that there would be a wait for nuggets and there was no telling how long the wait would be. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and there was one car in the drive thru. My husband just stood there for a second. We felt like this had to be one of those shows that had a hidden camera filming us, waiting to see just how far they could go…the restaurant attendants could care less, the food was ill-prepared, and it was our-word-against-theirs at that point. Wow… what a terrible experience. Ive been going to Popeyes since I was a kid in New Orleans, it’s always been my cheat day food but I will not go to this location again after today. I ordered a few things through the app, showed up through the drive thru to pick up my order(like the app told me to) the lady(manager) at the drive thru told me I had to come inside I asked her why, she said to come inside, I said I’m in line already stuck between two cars, she said come inside. So I go inside to wait for about 25 minutes, over this time I see two other customers leave because of literal arguments they got into with the staff. Finally they give me my order, from which half of it was missing. I told the manager and showed her my receipt for her to tell me that’s not the order they received. I showed her the receipt again which had the missing items on it and she kept telling me that’s not what they received. What’s the point of the receipt if your just going to ignore it! Mind you at this point it had been 45 minutes and I still only had half my order. I left empty handed and hungry because I was now running late for work. From the way I saw them treat people at this location I know they at least lost 3 customers including myself. Very rude and...

Should be zero stars...store#12015..drive thru..Terrible rude "shift leader" Gabriel and a girl that didn't give her name. First he said he was a manager then when we took his name down he changed it to "Shift Leader". They said there was no more mild chicken at all then they said there were 12 pieces of mild but no legs and a 9pm on a 2pcs Leg & Thigh Tuesday when they didn't close until 10pm. Then they said they couldn't accommodate for the loss with not even 1 piece of extra spicey chicken because then they would have no more chicken. They were laughing and mocking. They left the chicken on the inside counter by the register and pretended to not see it, then when we honked to ask if that was our chicken while waiting 30 minutes at the window with their window shut they ignored us then finally the manager came to the window and said yeah I know that's your chicken. Then still didn't give it to us. Then finally gave it to us by my husband having to drive away from the drive thru window to go park and walk inside. Then they finally gave us the bag of chicken.... cold and dry. Only had this happen at this popeyes in Huntington Beach CA never any other...
