@thaigulfhb is absolutely hidden gem thai food in HB. 19072 Beach Blvd Suite A & B, Huntington Beach, CA 92648 This is a family run business, and the chef - one of two sisters - is professionally trained. You can really, really tell when it comes to the flavors and presentation of this food. I tried a LOT of dishes, and every single one was wonderful. Tom yum was excellent. This is my favorite dish of almost all time, and theirs did not disappoint. It was loaded and perfect. Their tender beef chunk curry was also a huge winner. I wanted to eat this whole thing myself. Orange chicken is not usual to have on the menu at a thai spot, so for sure had to try that. It was authentic and a really good option for someone who might not like thai food. The pineapple fried rice couldn’t get any cuter. The pad thai was particularly good vs other pad thais. It had a deeper, richer flavor with more complexity. The roti paratha with banana was unreal. I’ve never seen this dessert before and it was just so good and unique. Their sweet rice & mango - I could eat it all day every day. If you haven’t given this place a shot yet - you really need to. . . . #thaifood #wheretoeat #feedfeed #foodreel #mmm #eater #feast #wheretobe #dinnertonight #takeout #thai #huntington #huntingtonbeach #orangecounty

Ordered takeout 20 minutes before they were closing. All the staff was very friendly which you sometimes dont see when you order this late. The interior is exceptionally clean and the ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice. It's a large 180 from the environment outside of the restaurant and the surrounding businesses. Got the combination fried rice, pad thai, papaya salad (not pictured) and pad see ew. The flavors were good, but not what I was expecting. The fried rice had nice flavor, but the texture of the rice was the mushy type of fried rice. If you like that style then you'll be a fan. The pad thai was a bit on the sweeter side which i wasn't expecting, but not bad by any means. Pad see ew was fine. Papaya salad was ordered at 4 spicy (out of 5), but ended up as a white person's 2 spicy level. Understandable because making it too spicy could leave it inedible. Overall I might give it another chance since I didn't get a chance to try their curry or their appetizers.

Let me start by saying that I love Thai cuisine and have never found a Thai restaurant I didn’t like and this restaurant didn’t change how I feel. The food was good however… My wife and I went out of our way to try this restaurant. We arrived at noon for lunch and the place was completely empty. We were the only customers. We ordered and the food arrived fairly quickly. The waiter seemed like we were keeping him from doing something else. He was upset about something. While we were eating I could hear him and someone else yelling at each other in the kitchen. Afterward when he came out of the kitchen his mood had improved considerably and was quite friendly. As for the food it’s not what I expected for Thai cuisine. There was no kick. I expect a little spicy flavor in Thai cuisine, but there was none. Though the food was decent it was a little bland. I had to ask for red pepper to try and spice it up a little. I got a little attitude from the waiter for asking for pepper. Would I eat here again? Yes Would I go out of my way to eat here? No Will I eat here again?...

I would have given this place 5 stars but, sadly their service has gone down hill, and fast. After moving into the neighborhood we were excited to have a Thai restaurant that delivers. We've only ordered delivery, and their food was great! Delivery time was good. They would even throw in some thai iced teas for free. The last couple times we have tried to order delivery, it has been a hot mess. First, they stopped with the Thai iced teas, which was a bummer. The guys who answered the phone, have had no clue what dishes we were trying to order (even though we oredered the same thing before), they would pass the phone around and still couldn't get it together, and told us to call back in an hour. We would call back and samething would happen. The last time they told us the delivery guy wasnt there and to call back in 2 hours even though they were going to close in an hour. What the hack is going on? Usually when we ordered a woman would answer, so she must be the ONLY one who knows what shes doing. Sad to say we will not be,ordering from this...
