Quick stop to grab a slice (or 2) of pizza after leaving Sea Legs. I wasn’t really impressed with the cash register blocking the door but it’s kinda take out only or sit in the few seats on their patio. The cashier wasn’t too outgoing so she didn’t provide much help, since it was our first time there. The sign on the register said slices $3 each or 2 for $5. We opted for 2 slices. Only choices are cheese or pepperoni. We went with pepperoni. She asked if we were going to eat there or take it next door to the brewery? Hmmmmm…. Next time that might be a good option! Come to find out they have a full menu. It’s not on any board but it’s printed! They sell full pizzas and calzones too. The calzone our neighbor table had looked pretty good. Pizza came out and I hade to say it was really good. We are not big dense, thick crust pizza eaters. We like thin crust but still flavorful. This crust was light and airy. Not crisp like a cracker thin crust. It was quite impressive. Pizza had great flavor. My hubby really enjoyed it so we will be back. 4 stars because service was a little lacking and they really should provide the menu upon walking up or put it on a board to see what all they have, not just photos on a screen loop. My suggestions…. But definitely give them a try.

First time here. Was very disappointed in the product I got from the photos I saw on Google and their website. Almost no topping….cheese or pineapple. A couple of slices don’t even have toppings but a sprinkling of cheese in the middle. On top of that pizza wasn’t ready when I got there and when they saw it was ready the told me pickup time was 18:11….which was the far end time of the “ready window” given when I ordered it. Mind you, I was less than five minutes from the end of that window when I arrived. Didn’t end up leaving with my order till 18:20. When I saw how few toppings were on it I should have stopped and ask them to remake it, but I wasn’t about to wait another half hour for that happen for a $13 pizza.

Another local pizza destination, but this one is definitely a local vibe servicing the northern Huntington Beach, PCH area. Walk in to order with limited out door bar style seating. What caught my eye and forced my hand to order was some interesting but appetizing slices of the day for under $5. Today im eating pastrami, pickle and mustard, and a side of bread knots. Lots of suggestions for jalapeño lovers. Another small detail that made me take a second look at this small strip style eatery. Easy walk from the beach, with ample safe crosswalks to get across the PCH. If you are a pizza die hard, or are just near by for vacation. This spot is worth a shot.

So this was a pretty good pizza place that I am not going to go to again because some dude named Travis needs to hold a grudge and act like a u know what every time I go in there. Sucks. One night I called after hours apparently I did not know their hours as I was a new patron the guy answers the phone like they are open and I ask if I can place an order he says we actually just closed I said oh right on was just going to get a couple slices he says just some slices I say yes he says I can do that for ya. So I’m like cool be right there. I go pay get in my vehicle cruise back to the spot I was fishing like 2 min away and the slices are cold I was bummed. So the next day I call and tell them yo I ordered some slices last night but they were cold. So they say I can come get some warm ones. Cool. Get there and the owner is talking to the guy from the night before and he is telling her this way out excuse like he went out of his way to accommodate me and yada yada. Whatever. Little awk but w/e cry me a river. The next time I saw him I said hey sorry but they really were cold and he says well it was after hours. I said ya and if u would have told me they would be cold I would have said no thank u, he just says cool whatever man. Now every time I go he makes a face when he sees me he hates me it feels so awkward going there he over charges me and it sucks I actually am not even going to eat this pizza tonight and tonight will be my last time going there he killed it totally ruined because he is still upset about the cold pizza. I called there tonight after just a couple minutes ago and told him hey thanks so much for being so lame every time I come there thanks for the faces u make and the rude cold attitude and I’m over it u can keep the faces and the awkwardness the attitude and the way u look at me to urself. He says is this the guy that.. I cut him off I said u know exactly who this is u don’t need to kid unless u make everyone feel like this and he gets all upset and says ya well how do u expect me to feel when u call my boss and complain the slices were cold I said they were bro and he says ya but it was after hours, I said so then tell me no don’t serve me some sub par product. Then he says well he gave them to me for free I said bs they shoulda been but I paid for them. Then he says well the next ones I said the next ones were because they were cold so he says whatever man and hangs up on me. Super solid super professional all the way around. Exactly the kind of person that can make u not want not to go anywhere near the He seems cool to everybody else and their pizza is not bad in my opinion, so hopefully u will enjoy going there but I won’t go back I go there for pizza not chips on peoples back they can’t let go of.

Lol of course u are and it ur response seems so sincere. My expectations are so high to right let’s see, not get served cold pizza and retaliated against. Lesson here is kiddos never have standards and if u do ur invited to go somewhere else. Hot food from a restaurant is a steep expectation. If someone is making it awkward and uncomfortable just take it or go somewhere else lol. Excellent...

So when places give free items to do a review I don’t really rely on the number or read the 5 stars reviews, I look at the ones with less to kinda gauge them or for what to expect. Didn’t have to read very much to learn most likely the beginning of the end for this place. I read they were family run so that’s a bummer, I dig family spots. However unless run properly with the very basics of business followed they are doomed for failure.

I read in another review that someone received a cold product and someone somehow was trying to justify that happening and the owner or manager found that acceptable and didn’t mind loosing the customer even went as far as to tell him they hope the next place meets his expectations. Sticking up for their employee. Have u guys not heard the customer is always right? Because without them you have nothing. There now u have been told. But how stupid are u to side with ur employee especially when he is in the 1000% wrong to serve cold pizza and not even tell the customer at any point along the exchange and then to hold on to it and make the customer feel uncomfortable because of idiotic decision of his that actually happened. Absolutely crazy I couldn’t write this stuff but he in his convoluted sense of reality feels justified and a customer informs you and you tell him to kick rocks. Do you even know what your customer acquisition cost is? Do you know what your customer retention rate is? I have a strong feeling you don’t otherwise you would not be so comfortable telling a customer adios.

All this said I went here and tried the mediocre food and pathetic service. 100 places in a stones throw better than this emotionally charged easily forgettable hole...
