Im usually not one to write reviews but after having this same situatuon happen now on several occasions, I feel I need to write one. Food is good, usually not an issue but delivery time is HORRIBLE! Today, I waited 3 hrs on food but still didn't receive it. I placed my order online at 11:40 am for ASAP delivery. My card was charged and fees taken out of my checking. After waiting 1 hr and never receiving food, I attempted to call business multiple times. Kept getting busy signal and then would hang up on me. So was never able to speak to anyone. The "Track Order" option online was never updated so I never knew status of the delivery. At 2 pm after having still not received order or getting any type of update, I tried calling business again. Phone actually rang this time and young man answered. It was delivery driver who was very polite and apologetic. He looked up my order and said he was just getting it out for delivery and it would be at my location within 10-15 mins tops. 2:35 pm rolls around, still no delivery. I call the business again. This time different gentleman answers. I explained details from last call and that food still not arrived. He apologized and said "we actually received a few more orders after you called in last time. So he actually just left with your food but he is on his way now. I apologize but we are short staffed and didnt expect so many orders to come in today". I politely asked for refund at this point in time as it has now been 3 hrs since I placed my order and with my work schedule would not be able to eat the food now. He was speaking with manager in background. I overheard her say "we can do a refund but tell her her food won't be delivered now". She also informed me it would take 3-5 business days for refund to be issued. I understand times are hard and finding workers is tough but there should be a way to update customers on this type of issue earlier on so that a refund could be requested if needed. Very poor way of doing business. Likely will lose more customers as this same thing has now happened several times to my coworkers as well and have they have vowed to not order from there again. People used to be old customers Come Back to your familiar neighborhood shop for great food. Understand this ship was always great good. Then was a time. Not so . However its back TIP TOP SHAPE for students our great Huntington. Missed great service. Food is great delivery prompt. Trust just go back take my word a brand new staff. They are kind when you call. It's not that they are unfriendly but incredibly forgetful and do not care about forgetting part of your order. The last 8-9 orders I have had were delivered with something missing like drinks, chips or cookie. This last time was a french loaf which was for my 2 little kids. They love the bread but we got our order and it was not there. I called and was told it was on its way. Waited the usual 45 minutes for a delivery and still not there. I had already giving the kids something else but they were still looking forward to the french bread. I called again and had to go through the story again to someone new and was questioned even more about the missing bread. She said oh it's right here, the driver must have forgotten it again. So now twice the driver overlooked it but was told that he would bring it as soon as he got back. I was really irritated but said okay thank you. Waited another hour ..this time my husband called and said if it wasn't here in the next 10 minutes that they would refund the bread. To which they replied that they couldn't do a partial refund. Probably why we have lost about $25 in drinks, chips and cookies because they forgot it and it wasn't worth the fight with them but I was putting my foot down this time. We finally got the bread almost 2.5 hours after the while ordeal started. I'm done with this location which sucks because I really loved Jimmy John's but not worth the constant headache of not getting...
