Where do I begin. So I called an order to go for the Amorè on the menu. The girl said they didn’t do that anymore and could just do it separately? Ok? So I said let’s do it, I give her my appetizer choice and 2 entree choices. So far I’m thinking I’m getting the stuff listed in the Amorè. Then I get a gelato as well. I show up without my wallet and they couldn’t do Apple Pay or Venmo, just one of those nights. So I drive 30 min back home and back to the restaurant to pay for it, I’m already irritated because I forgot but whatever. So then I get my order and the receipt says 70$. I’m thinking okay weird because the Amorè is 50$ plus gelato 5$? I dont think a second thought about it I pay and then leave. I get to my car and look in the bag and I’m confused. There is only 2 entrees, the appetizer, and the gelato. For reference the Amorè online listed 2 salads, bread, appetizer, 2 entrees on the quick to go menu. The entrees are 34$ together (Chicken Biancos), appetizer is 14$ (pepperoni Stromboli), salads 10$, bread 5$, and gelato is 5$ separately. So I go back in for a 3rd time and ask did they forget the salads and bread. She looks confused and says that what’s in the bag is it. I then say I order the Amore separated basically and it comes with all that. And she said I just ordered what I said on the phone. I say how is all this 70$? And she said I’m sorry but that’s what it is. This meal max should have been 52$ plus tax. Where did the other 20 go??? And the size of the gelato says pint online and looked like a Togo sauce container (melted by the time I picked it up). Couldn’t have been more...
Read moreWe absolutely loved this restaurant! Both of us thought the atmosphere was ambient and relaxing. Yes, this restaurant is inside a two story house and it's not wide open with cathedril ceilings and tons of extra space but we have no problem with that and actually liked it. The owner came around and introduced himself and wanted to know if we was satisfied with the service, quality of food, and if we had to wait long to be seated. We did have around a 30 minute wait but we found a seat at the small bar and I enjoyed a wonderful glass of Sangria and he drank a cold beer. Our waitress was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. Now on to their food....The authentic Italian food was absolutely heaven sent! We ordered the Bruschetta flatbread appetizer and ate all of it. I ordered the brick oven Mulberry street pizza which may I add is amazingly good! I also ate a small Italiano salad which was fresh and good. He ordered home made pasta sausage diavola and enjoyed the huge portion. We both had to ask for to go boxes and also ordered a couple cannolis to go. Needless to say, once we arrived back at home our two children attacked our boxes and absolutely loved the pizza too! So, next time they will be going out to...
Read moreI have been a Huntington native my whole life and have supported local businesses since day one. I have ate here multiple times with my Dr friends and Pharm reps. I am giving 2 stars due to the service issue I have had today. The food is great however the service is poor. I have a knee injury and after placing an order and parking out front they was unable to bring my order to me. I told them I am paying cash and tip on the order. Jordan said we cannot being it out due to liability issues. I have had an order brought out before in the past no issue at all. I have only had to do this twice due to my knee issue. I said I need to cancel the order then. He said sure no problem as if it's no big deal. Most businesses will bring an order out curb side if needed. The food is not cheap and I always tip on top of my order. I wonder if catering is a liabilty issue too? I'm sure hosptials and lawyers offices need help with orders being brought to their vehicle out front regardless of what I was told. As a family owned restaurant this is not the...
