You step into the glow of neon lights—pots clanging in the kitchen, paper bags rustling, the buzz of tipsy college kids spilling stories about frat parties and heartbreak. The door swings open and the bell jingles, a familiar sound that lets Sue and June know you’ve arrived at their spot. Outside, a couple of girls sit cross-legged on the curb, sharing bites of chicken parm and big thoughts about life. It's 1 a.m., and there are still three hours to go. The line snakes past the drink fountain, a quiet chaos of hungry souls waiting on salvation in sandwich form. No one behind the counter talks. They don’t need to. They’ve done this before, a thousand times. They move with purpose, like clockwork, like ritual. Sue calls out an order and people listen—not out of fear, but out of respect. This is her kitchen. Food arrives in red plastic baskets, steaming and unapologetically perfect. Hoagies, pasta, crispy fries—it’s everything you want at this hour, everything your stomach didn’t know it needed. No one really remembers when Rocco’s started. It feels like it’s always been here, stitched into the fabric of Fourth Street. Everyone remembers Sue and June though—like your favorite aunts who just happen to run a no-nonsense, late-night institution. I’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants. June appears from the back, apron already dusted in flour, ready to take on the next rush. I can’t explain the taste or the magic of the food they make—it’s the kind that fills more than your belly. It settles your soul. It’s your stomach hitting the pillow before your head does. It’s comfort. It’s chaos. It’s Rocco’s. Late-night food that deserves its own show on the...

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel for late night munchies when we got there we asked the Asian lady at the register could we taste the chicken salad. We tasted it but decided to go with the meatball sub which my husband requested that his bread be toasted with the meatball sub but as seeing the cook he saw the he just put the marina meatball inside a sub roll that wasn’t toasted he asked the Asian lady could she please tell the cook to toast the sub roll as requested please. The Asian gentlemen (the cook) shouted “ “we don’t want your money give him his money back”.The Asian lady told my husband he was being to difficult and he needs to leave . We left and told the couple thank you for your service. It’s sad that we we were treated in this matter. So disappointed I’m the overall service we received. If I visit again definitely not coming back here. Customer...
