Atmosphere was really good I really enjoyed the customer service. Me and my daughter went and we overall rate a 9.5 We do think that the fish that I had could the meat of the fish could have been seasoned as it was very bland the outside of the fish was good I write the fish a 9. I also think that the sole sauce was a phenomenal idea and it is really really delicious as well as the macaroni and cheese. My daughter had chicken and she rates with a 10. Also she raced the macaroni at 10. Wow, this is some seriously good food. They had an issue at lunchtime with their credit card system, so they gave me a sample of their oxtails for my troubles. It was so good, along with the rice and red kidney beans, that decided to pick some up for dinner. They were sold out of oxtails for the day (a good sign), so we got ribs, fried catfish, and sides. The ribs were tender and delicious. I liked the sauce which had the right amount of sweetness and a nice note of allspice. The breading on the catfish was good. I really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere was nice, the service was lovely. The food, though. I had the Oxtail dinner, it was $45 and I received 2 bones and a third bone had zero meat on it, but a tiny cluster of meat beside it. The macaroni and cheese was so dry. Greens were identical to Glory, like exactly except for the sugar. Baked beans were pork and beans with the little square pieces of fat. I ordered cornbread as a side, it was the size of a silver dollar and a half inch tall. I wanted this place to be like "Grannys" cooking, but it tasted like Becky's.
