Chicos is over-priced. Marquee Cinemas is fantastic.
Roosters isn't bad but I wish they had later hours.
The comic book store downstairs isn't bad but some of their stuff is overpriced like their magazines.
Quicksilver was great but now they have new staff and their new staff isn't very friendly. Their BBQ sauce also tastes different now and isnt as good as the old one. Good selection of games but certain games cost money to play like Guitar Hero. They need better selection of games for the Dreamcast.
They also need a GameCube or a Wii.
I also found it weird that there's a church next to the bar haha?
Verizon is great.
Starbucks is what you'd expect it to be. Gamestop is what you'd expect it to be too.
The ice cream shop needs to buy new marshmallows the marshmallows I got for my icecream were old and hard. Everything else tastes great though.
Blacksheep removed their brisket quesadilla and isnt as good as it used to be.
The fountain in pullman is beautiful when the water is running. There is no free parking here on the weekdays and you'll be hard pressed to find parking so you'll either end up parking far away or in the garage.
Its nice that its on a bus route and I miss when they had concerts here.
Thats my review....
Read moreI really like going to Pullman, especially on dates. There are lots of things to do. There's a Cold Stone Creamery and a Starbucks, for dates where neither person is that hungry. There's also Max & Erma's and Roosters, both tasty places that are good for one-on-one evenings or groups. The Rooster's bartenders are really nice and they have a pretty good beer selection. Max and Erma's has a good margarita pitcher deal, so watch for that. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Pullman theater too, and they're good about responding when someone complains about an annoying loud/phone-using person. Empire Books is cool too, and I've bought a few journals there. During the summer, one of the radio stations hosts a live music event every week, on Thursdays if I'm remembering correctly. Rails and Ales is held at Pullman too. It's a good place to keep up with if you want to go to events in Huntington, and if you want to know the schedule of events, ask the employees in the shops. Someone from Empire told me when the music events were going to happen last year, which makes me think they know a little bit in advance of the...
Read moreThis place just keeps going downhill and it’s one of three only “hot spots” in Huntington to take visitors. When it first opened, 20 years ago, it was the nicest place you could go in Huntington with friends on Friday night. It had shopping and great dinner options. Now, it looks like its days from closing. There’s nothing worth shopping, the sidewalks and walking paths are so bumpy, an individual in a wheelchair could very well fall out of their chair hitting the cracks. It’s EXTRA work to get around the place, even when we were two of the ten people around. The elevator was broken this past Sunday. For individuals who are physically unable to use the stairs, a broken elevator is unacceptable. We had to go all the way around to the street to push uphill on a wonky sidewalk only to realize we still couldn’t get upstairs to Roosters. We went to Black Sheep and that was an even worse mistake. Just an overall disappointing experience back home this weekend. Someone needs to make a few multi million dollar investments in the area and bring all those shops and restaurants back to their...
