Food: It was okay. Pretty bland to be honest considering how many spices are supposed to be in the food. I ordered the Singapore Noodles. Rice noodles are a favorite of mine and I've ordered a variation of this dish at many restaurants. I was disappointed in Meo Wei's.
Atmosphere: When I walked in, it wasn't clear where exactly the counter was or which side of the long row of booths I should walk on. A sign would have been nice. I entered in the wrong side. As I passed I noticed several booths had not been bussed. At least 3.
Service: The gentleman at the counter was very sweet and personable. He took a personal call on his cell while I was finishing my transaction though. Maybe it was an emergency, I don't know. The hispanic lady working with him, standing out front next to the checkout where to-go orders would be placed, was on her phone leaning on the counter facing the kitchen. She stayed on her phone until an order needed delivering. While I was eating, the gentleman bussed the tables. I question why phone lady didn't do that while he was helping me and the ladies in front of me. I also saw him assist another table with a special request and pack some to go orders. She kept staring at her phone.
Parking: Parking directly by the restaurant is limited; parallel only. There is a parking deck very close by in front of publix.
Seating: Six 4-seat booths, Five 6-seat tables, 10...
Read moreAs far as the chefs and menu goes, I give them an A++! The food was excellent! Probably the best I have had in a while that was different than the usual. However, I walked in with my sister on 2/4/17 around 4 in the afternoon. Not busy at all and ahead of us were 2 guys chatting it up with the 3 girls behind the counter. Not a big deal since we needed to take a minute to look over the menu. After about 5 minutes with no one asking if they can help us (and them still just talking), we kind of made our way to just start talking to them. The girls were nice and quick while the guys just stood there waiting for us to go on to our seats. I turned the corner into the dining area and I literally could NOT believe how dirty it was. I got my drink and they were still just goofing off at the counter with the guys and I asked if the girls had seen how dirty it was and that they needed to check on the clean up crew. It looked like it had not been touched since the lunch crowd left. Almost every table had not been cleaned. Dirty dishes and trash was all I saw. Once I said that the 2 guys looked over the half wall and one looked at bit startled too, and said "oh wow". The girls rolled their eyes and said they would look into it. 2 of the girls came out and they were still out there cleaning up tables when we left after eating. I have never been in a restaurant that was so uncared for. At least the...
Read moreI would never buy food here because I hate thieves. I was in here as a Door Dasher tonight. They handed me a bag and I asked, "He ordered a drink. Is the Coke in the bag?" Some places use bottles or cans, so I wasn't sure. She said, "Everything you need is in the bag!" Upon leaving, I had to take a receipt pic and there was only 2 items on there so I opened it- no drink. Walked over and asked them where is his drink? I told you about it. She said, "ONLY YOU SEE THE DRINKS - WE DON'T. IT'S YOUR FAULT IT WAS MISSED!" No, honey. It's your fault for lying, trying to avoid giving me the cup to get the beverage by lying when I asked initially. She repeated herself when you order drinks, they don't show up on her register, just our menu as Door Dashers. She has been stealing this money from people paying for beverages they are not getting. Shady thieves. I warned my customer about this practice and told him to pay attention on further orders. They are keeping the money and not giving the customers what they are paying for. Stealing to make ends meet....
