Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Huntsville

Dearest Gentle Reader, I humbly come before you today with a grateful heart and a full belly. All thanks to the BOGO pizza/flatbread special that schlotzky’s (specifically in Huntsville, TX) so generously provides every Wednesday. If you need further clarification that does indeed mean BUY ONE GET ONE FREE - it’s that last word that does it for me. In this economy no one can take anything FREE for granted. Especially when that item comes as a hot, fresh 10 inch pizza.

Not only FREE, but let’s talk about quality. I’m not so presumptuous to assume that just because something is free that makes it good. However, that is the case when it comes to the pizza and flatbread I purchased for my family this evening. Not only was the food hot and fresh, but the flatbread was excellently crispy and loaded with toppings. The spicy mayo sauce atop the California flatbread blended with the flavors of the chicken and avocado was the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The flatbread itself was delightfully crispy. This writer was splendidly impressed with the meal I purchased this evening. The pizzas crust was soft, the cheese applied generously and was exceptionally warm and gooey.

The ladies working the counter were patient and helpful. Eager to answer the questions of their many patrons and indeed provided service with a smile.

Altogether, in my experience only one word is needed to convey my feelings.....

My family and Idecided to eat schlotzky since it was on the feeder rd going north and looked like a great place to eat. As soon as we walked into the restaurant my daughter realized it had a smell by the register but as soon as you went further out inside the restaurant it get better. Computers where down but the guys behind the counter tried to fix the problem as soon as they could which we understood and we patiently waited, but I stook there for a good 2 minutes before someone told me of the issue. Anyways we get our food and sit down towards the far end of restaurant to eat and my daughter gets her chicken teaser salad which didn't look like what we imagined it to be. I don't recommend getting that. Turkey sandwich where good. Strawberry lemonade was ok but had a little of after taste. Unfortunately we where not really impressed and will probably not be...

Pretty aggravated, went in today to get the buy one get on free pizza. My boss was there as well picking up his pizzas (he got his free pizza) I made my order and when my food was ready only one pizza was brought to me. I asked where the second pizza was that when the assistant manager got involved and asked to see my receipt stating I had to have ordered the pizza, chips, and a drink. I showed her my receipt and told that’s what I did order she then said well you only paid for one pizza. I said yes I know because the second one is supposed to be free. She refused to listen to me was very arrogant and rude. And said sorry I can’t help you you’re only getting one pizza unless you would like to pay for another one. Me and my coworker who also was there for the promotion did not receive our free pizzas and had a very negative experience with this particular...
