Hobby Lobby — Local services in Huntsville

As many people do, I love Hobby Lobby. I would have given 5 stars if the store was not cluttered with Christmas stuff. All in the middle of the Isles the Maine Isles just cluttered. However, I did find a lot of really good sales 4 and 90% off. I'm trying to work on a couple scrapbooks and couldn't quite pinpoint the items that I was looking to put inside. Also, as with many many companies, their prices on their items can be rather costly. I was there roughly about an hour and a half. almost 15 minutes of that was spent standing in the checkout line. At one point there was actually 9 customers and one line waiting yet there were people all over the store that I'm sure could have come and checked out customers. One lady did show up when I was approximately 3 customers from the register to check out. I have just had knee surgery and it was difficult to just stand in that spot for so long. The clerk was processing return items for customers as well as directing customers Chile specific aisle for what they needed and checking out...

As this is the only place to get craft supplies in Huntsville, this review could possibly be better than this location deserves. However, I will continue to shop there simply because it is what is available. The selection is always great, the displays are set up well, and the clearance is well-marked and easy to locate. With that being said, all Hobby Lobby's can provide the same service. What this particular Hobby Lobby is lacking in is customer service. Even when walking by two or three employees in the same aisle, they rarely if ever acknowledge the customers. When waiting at the fabric counter, you can ring the bell repeatedly and still receive no service, even when you can count five employees with in plain sight of the counter. I do not know who manages this Hobby Lobby, but they should spend more time training their employees to respect the customers which give them...

This location has the usual selection for all crafts and decorations... I always find what ever it is in hinting for. I keep busy with various crafts from costume makong to Kandi bead making and sketching. They have a really large clearance section in the back left corner of the store lining the wall. I usually find little trinkets and useful objects on the wall that I must have. I try to check the clearance wall for the items on my list before searching in the designated area to find the best deal! I will say there is usually a long wait time at the register to check out. And theres hardly ever anyone at the fabrics counter, I have to hunt for an employee to call someone to cut my ribbons and fabrics. This is probably just due to a short staff. Nothing major.
