Waffle House — Restaurant in Huntsville

I don't know who the manager are the owner of this place is but you should go by your business in the middle of the night it's a shame that I get off work and drive over there to waffle House the lights that say waffle House are turned off. Two employees are standing outside one sitting inside and when I asked her you still open I'm told yes we're open but we're not accepting any inside dining and we only are accepting cash as they appear to be waiting on a ride mind you it's before 12 am on a Thursday. Are you trying to close your business because there are several other places that are still open so why bother and go through the hassle going to your establishment it's a shame great brand but you're running it in the ground. All I could do was laugh 😂 I have 20 to 30 years experience in food service all the way from server dishwasher to store manager to general manager. And I have a culinary degree.. and this is just sad maybe no one's told you that this goes on but this is not the first time did I went by there and received about the same kind of treatment. Good luck in the future I hope that they'll be somewhere else that people can go.. . Oh I forgot there is Maybe you all should remember...

1 star because -1 star isn't an option. I took my kids here for lunch. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. Mid way through lunch a roach walked across our table. My kids are unfamiliar with roaches, so they didn't really know anything other than a bug was on the table. I was DISGUSTED. I still am. I immediately called for the manager and told her what happened. She tried to explain they were a 24 hour establishment and they had people working in the problem. She then asked if I wanted a discount or if I wanted her to remake our food. I said no and repeated to her that a ROACH just walked across our table. She then looked at me as if I'd insulted one of her friends or wasn't supposed to be upset. I didn't cause a scene, I'm not that type of person. I politely tipped my waitress the total cost of the bill and left. As I was leaving, I happened to see the floor under my table and it looked as if it had never been swept or mopped before. No wonder the roaches are not afraid to come out into the dining area. I will never return. Since then, I've cooked every meal at my home. Im done with eating out. Thanks University...

December 2 went in at night 10-10:30 had been craving an All Star with grits,bacon, scrambled eggs, raisin bread/ applebutter sauce. Got home no waffle. Tammy was nice and the enegy in the building was upbeat. Tried calling to let them know that the icon, " The waffle" was not in my bag when I got home but i guess when they are busy the message comes on. I just wanted to tell them that. Next morning, went by there and told them what had happened, showed them my receipt and asked for a waffle and ordered a side of bacon. AS I received the bag I noticed that I did not get plastic ware. Janet (who was cery dry and cold) told me that they didnt have any, very nonchalantly. I ask for silverware to eat inside because I wasn't going home. When i opened the container the waffle was thin as paper. I questioned the manager and she said that is how they are. I looked 😖. She said we would cook another one. It came out the same? I asked for a refund. I thought this was sad because I had driven all zhe way back for this type of food and...
