Under the very cute facade of honey bees and sweet treats, unfortunately the quality of the food itself could not be hidden. Not only was the service mediocre, from individuals who seemed to rushed and disorganized to properly take our order, but so was the food. Yes, the cinnamon rolls were huge, and they had a variety of cutesy cookies and baked goods, but our order was incorrectly made TWICE. The breakfast sandwiches were ok at best, and even after we paid for them and a side of mac and cheese we were given cream cheese bagels instead. Because of the digital form of payment we opted for no receipt, and had to tell staff we were just in the store five minutes before, in order to receive the items we actually paid for. On top of less than friendly service, and subpar efforts to correct the mistakes, the mac and cheese is boxed! Straight out of the Kraft mac and cheese box right into the container. Is it that hard to make some homemade mac?? Especially for that price.. Muddy Bees is right behind Subway off of State St. in Hurricane Utah. They have their own Beehive on the premises. They make fresh loaves of bread daily, have homemade sandwiches, bakery items including GF and Vegan. There gigantic cinnamon rolls with luscious amounts of cinnamon are delicious. We arrived at opening hoping to get a quick breakfast before hitting the road. The cinnamon rolls that other reviewers rave about were not even in the oven and the selection in the pastry counter was prettty small. This is an unforgivable sin; you can't open your bakery with half your inventory not available. The person at the counter was clearly new and overwhelmed. It took over 25 minutes to get two lattes, a kid's hot cocoa, a smoothie, and 3 baked goods. One of the lattes was incorrect and the kid's hot cocoa was made with hot tea water instead of being an appropriate temperature for a child. The cup was so full that if I hit a bump with the car, my son would have been scalded. I had to pour out a bunch in the parking lot and tell him to let it cool a while before he tried a sip. The bread pudding (made from cinnamon rolls) was delicious. I wish I could have tried the cinnamon roll. The cherry filling on my danish was very good, the pastry was fine but...
