First let me start with, I’m not one to leave reviews. When I do, it’s because of bad service. Which at that, I hardly ever do write bad reviews. Now, I love this Restaurant. The food is exhausted and I have never had any conflicts with the service/employees. I have been coming here with my parents for years and my parents know most of the employees. However, today (July 4, 2023) around 10am, we Decided to come and eat here (because of course we love this place). There was a lady that we haven’t seen before. When she toke my order she was a little rude to me but I let it go. my parents put in their order next. When we sat down on the bench, my mom and I started looking over the receipt because she charged us more than what we usually pay. As I was looking through the order, I saw that She had messed up the order and charges for more tacos than what we had asked for. My mom when to tell that she made a mistake. The Lady have my mom an attitude and told my mom it was our fault because of how we order. Since there wasn’t much people, the food got out fast and the lady told my mom “I can’t do anything about it now.” Basically saying it is what it is and I’m not taking responsibility of it. Now, my mom is not one who likes conflict much, so she just told her “okay” and to leave it as is. When the lady handed my mom her food, she basically launch the tray of food to my mom. As a person who used to work in customer service that is very disrespectful and you don’t do that no matter what.
Me and my parents have decided that if we ever see this lady instead of the other two that we usually see, we’re not ordering from this place. Now I wouldn’t post this comment. If there’s a way I can reach out to corporate or the owner but since I don’t, I am leaving this comment. Hopefully they get to see this. And that lady that was working there either y’all get to guide her on good customer service or just don’t put her there! because her attitude was rude, uncalled for and this could’ve been handled way better. This does not deprive me from not coming here because like I said, we love coming here. but if this lady is working the day that we decide Come, we’re just simply gonna go to another restaurant. Now to anybody who is looking for a review to see if this food and place is good, I recommend 100%! love this restaurant. Don’t let my first bad experience here to deprive you from coming and enjoying the food. But if you do come in contact with this lady, and if she gives you a bad attitude, or some sort of negative customer service, then do you speak up. But I really hope you don’t get a...
Read moreAs a Mexican girlie who grew up frequenting holes in the wall… this ain’t it. Someone had to be honest.
I have been coming here for about 7 years. Why? Convenience, lack of options, and they have one item that surprisingly keeps me coming back.
You see a place like this you try their tacos and salsa and you can pretty much tell everything else you order will be a 6/10. I come here usually because it’s late and if we’re in the mood for Mexican this is all that’s open.
I’ve also learned that if you call multiple times eventually they will pick up the phone and will be less than enthused to take your order. That way you don’t have to wait in your car in a double drive through line that makes no sense sometimes for up to 45 minutes. Call ahead. They’ll pick up. Eventually. This place is always packed. The people at the window aren’t the nicest but I’ve had worse.
All that said, there is an item worth the visit. An item that is unexpected. When the craving hits I can’t think of a better place nearby or anywhere really that is still in existence that can make a better one. …. The item is….drumroll please…..(close your eyes and imagine a long drumroll… but don’t close them too long because if you have ADD like me you’ll forget you were reading a review and never find out what the item is)…… okay here it goes……their BURGER 🍔!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I know this is a Mexican place but their burgers are absolute perfection. Are they beautiful? Yes 😍 on the inside. I don’t have burgers often. I wait until my insides yearn for that delicious greasy cheesy ooh I can’t, I can’t even keep going because now I want one.
If you order one, first it comes in a styrofoam container sadly. It actually plays a factor in my frequency of ordering a burger from there. I’m contributing to the demise of this planet. I know 😞. Secondly, you’ll notice the burger isn’t sitting tall. No it’s also haphazardly thrown together. It doesn’t look like a beautiful burger that you see in a commercial. Those are not even edible. This is a real burger. Don’t judge it by its looks. Lastly, the burger comes with a side of fries which can only be described as…. Leftover In and Out fries that were heated in a microwave. Straight to the trash for me. This isn’t about the fries anyway. They’re always trying to be the main character, well.....
Read moreI ordered the Super Nachos, but the only thing "super" about them was how disgusting they were.
The first order I received was a complete disaster. As I left the parking lot, I grabbed one to try at the next stoplight. Immediately, I noticed there was almost no cheese—what little there was sat on top of the nachos, completely unmelted. The meat and beans were ice cold, while the cheese (if you could even call it that) was slightly warmer but still not melted. The tortilla chips? Hard as cardboard and completely stale.
I bit into a piece of the carne asada, only to find it was just fat—chewy, inedible, and downright gross. Hoping maybe another chip from the other side would be better, I tried again—same issue: no cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole, just a pile of stale chips with cold, tasteless toppings.
Frustrated, I immediately turned around and went back. I showed the lady at the counter my order and explained that it was cold and inedible. Instead of offering to fix it, she just kept insisting it would be cold because I had already left with it. Mind you, I had literally gone one stoplight down and turned around—not enough time for anything to get cold if it had been warm to begin with.
I asked if I could just switch to a taco salad instead, since it’s meant to be cold and even cheaper on their menu. She refused, repeatedly insisting that what I had was not a taco salad—which I obviously knew. I was just trying to get something remotely edible instead of another disgusting plate of nachos.
Eventually, I gave up and accepted a replacement order of the same disgusting nachos. But guess what? Exact same thing. No cheese, no guacamole, no sour cream, still stone-cold, and the chips were still hard as rocks. The meat was just as fatty and unappetizing.
At $12 for this mess, I wouldn’t eat these nachos even if they were free. Two terrible orders in a row? That’s not a mistake—that’s just bad food and bad service. Avoid this place...
