Luxor Hookah Lounge Hurst — Restaurant in Hurst

I have been here multiple times before this day I decided to come . We got charged at the door and they shorted us on our change but we brushed it off. Once we got inside and sunk into the couches we ordered hookah which took almost 45 min to come out . Not only was the hookah late but our server never came back to us we had to ask other people walking around to help and they barely did that. We purchased Red Bulls from them , top flight security came in and said we couldn’t drink/bring them in. Once the receipt was showed that we got it from them , they just walked off no apology or anything . When it’s time to pay they show you the screen and it breaks down everything . The total was about $50 and had extra charges for bringing your own bottle. I told the server we payed that at the door and she said “ oh they must have changed the wrist band colors .” She took the charges off we payed, then she came back and said we had to pay for the cups of ice . We payed $5 for the 4 cups of ice …. She came back and said we had to pay for the cups they used to put the ice in and it was an extra $5. That’s when I caught an attitude because what ?!?!? I asked to speak to the manager he came out and said if he had to pay for it so did we and I told him how do you first forget to put it on our tab , secondly how do you charge us for the cups separate and then the ice . He looked at me with a blank stare as if I was tripping. I was not drunk nor tipsy and feel like they definitely tried to pull some fast ones . The service is horrible i understand if you make sure your guest are straight before throwing it in a circle , but they don’t care and are having more fun...

Arrived around 12 midnight with my girls. It’s a byob so people, please don’t complain about the cover charge. It’s totally a reasonable price. The DJ and jamming and his playlist was completely FIRE!!!!!! Now that’s out the way. This place gets a 1 star because of 2 reasons. 1) Even though the hookah was hitting(thank god). I watched the whole place get new coal while waiting until our coal turned into cigarette ashes. Didn’t really get to enjoy the hookah enough. 2) The server Chyna has to work on her attitude and communication because girrllllll!!!!!!!!!! Waiting on her to bring us some cups of ice and juice was completely terrible. Mingling with other people in their booths, and going outside just to chill and talk was not ok. My friend got her attention and reminded her. She had the nerve to have an attitude about it like we were bothering her. Sooooooo please work on those two things and this place can get a big 5 star rating!!!!! Tell that DJ keep...

The atmosphere is great. The best thing about this place is the dj and the wings. First they charged us $20 on a night that was supposed to be free for ladies. And told us that’s was for the first 10 women. At the door they told us we have to purchase 3 hookahs when we got to our section they said we have to order 4. We explained to them everyone didn’t smoke hookah and they made us pay $10 a piece in order to not have to get another hookah. My friend ordered a chicken salad and it came in a hot dog container for $15 so she asked for more salad and they said they added more but didn’t. So she told them she don’t want it and they took one of our hookahs that we paid for and lied and said it’s a 2 hour limit on hookahs but they didn’t take the others we had.
