R-B Drive In — Restaurant in Hutchinson

Oh man oh man. I was singing sweet lullabies after eating here yesterday. I was recommended this place by a few friends and I'll be recommending to a bunch of my own. My Dad and I ate a couple of R-B Burger's with fries and wow. This place invoked memories of many greasy burger places my Dad and I would frequent when I was a child. It was great service, in a quant but clean atmosphere, with mouth watering greasy smash burgers (made with fresh beef )and homemade fries to die for. This place is one of the last of a dying breed and I will be back now any time I'm in Hutchinson. This is EXACTLY what I love in a burger place. It's been 24 hours and I can't stop thinking about this place. If the team at R-B reads this, y'all killed it! I can't wait...

Drive in restaurant with bar style seating inside more suited to smaller parties. They do have 2 outdoor tables that seat 6 each. Food is made fresh to order. The last time we went, we called and ordered an hour ahead so our food would be ready when we arrived because the lady told us it's was a 45 minute wait and we were on our way somewhere with specific amount of time to spend there, but despite calling ahead and our food ready when we arrived, we still ended up waiting about 40 minutes. This was our first time calling ahead with an order, so I'm not sure if this is normally what happens if an order is called ahead. I hope not. Choices! There are so many choices for the fried goodies. I always get corn nuggets or fried okra. They have milkshakes and handmade onion rings. The fries are awesome. Their hamburgers are delicious but they offer wraps and chicken sandwiches also. The staff is always attentive and friendly. We are greeted as soon as we enter. The prices on the menu include tax so it is easy to set a budget for a lunch and not go overboard. Wait times can be long if you visit during a rush but if you are in a hurry, calling ahead and placing an order is a great option. They also offer "doggie bags" which is a plain hamburger and treat for your dog. The Beltbuster challenge is neat but I have yet to earn my t-shirt. (They sell the...
