I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago, and I am not very familiar with it, but I have known it for a long time. I just don't go here much and just decided to visit after craving some good sandwiches. The place is clean, and there are a few tables inside. They do not only offer sandwiches, but they also have other good and interesting things. The employee at the counter was nice and friendly, and she had recommendations about their wide and different selections on their amazing menu. I just ordered a sandwich, and the service was pretty fast. I must say that the sandwich is a bit pricier compared to its small portion. I thought it would be a huge portion considering its expensive price, but it was not. Even so, the sandwich was really delicious and satisfied my cravings. This is the first deli I visited in my life..some 45+ yrs ago. I don't visit often, but it takes me back to the memory of my first corn beef sandwich each time I come here.
I'm visiting today, for the first time in about 20yrs... Can't WAIT!
Update: Well... not what it once was. Sandwiches were "ok" but lacking. My pastrami/corned beef combo was dry with only 1/3 of the meat that should have been on it.
Ordered 5 sandwiches for the family: Roast beef, Turkey, Chicken, Corned Beef & my combo. Paid extra for cheese on some & a bag of small chips for each. No one thought the sandwiches were anything to brag about.
Total cost around $60... that's NOT a value considering the quality/quantity.

My mother said a friend came over her house the other day with a corned beef from Morry's in Hyde Park and that it was good, she asked me to take her to get one, we go and buy the corned beef sandwich and I was very disappointed, this was the worse corned beef sandwich I ever had from a deli, it cost 26 dollars for 2 sandwiches and it wasn't worth it, I thought I was about to get a real corned beef sandwich boy was I wrong, this was the meat the we buy in the grocery store in a individual package very thin and processed, not a full sandwich that I was expecting for 13 dollars, this is not the same meat that I bought from them years ago, it must be newowners or something because it was horrible, please don't waste your time or money on this...
