Chitown visitors you will not regret visiting this location. The city views are amazing and you will take some great photos. You have trails and beautiful views of the lake. Consider bring a frisbee and or prepare to have a picnic.

There you will find an iron ladder in the rocks. This is an easy way in and out to the deep water. This area (south of the point) is protected by buoys so no water craft enter. Itās home to a long stretch of open water which makes it a favorite spot for swimmers (of all ages a senior group frequently meets in the late mornings) looking to get a work out. The rocks provide great sun from morning till late afternoon so amazing tanning and relaxing. Climb up to the top of the sea wall and thereās plenty of trees to seek shade between dips in the lake. It's a perfect atmosphere on a crisp day to enjoy the view of downtown. During the summer it's a whirlwind of activity. The smell of barbecue is unavoidably enticing as family gatherings are the norm during warmer months.
