Tasty sandwiches. However, my experience left high disappointment. I've been going here since I was little. My husband and I were just passing through, as we don't live in IF, and I wanted some comfort food. Baby was asleep in the car, so I went in first, planning to order my sandwich & then have hubby come in and grab mine & his. The gal that took my order, I'm assuming, was a manager based on the orders being barked to other associates while taking my order. I told her twice, "No onion." I had to tell her twice because she was barking orders, worrying about other associates, instead of focusing on what I said. She acted disgruntled with me when I told her my husband would be in shortly. When I got back to the car, I gave my husband a heads-up that the gal was grumpy. When he returned to the car, he also said she was snapping at employees and giving him attitude. So, my thoughts after this experience? This manager thinks everyone she works with is an idiot. She also finds it more important to tell everyone what they're doing wrong. She also thinks it's appropriate to berate associates in front of customers. I would also like to add that while she's busy pointing out their flaws, she screwed up! I got onions on my sandwich. My bag she wrote the sandwich details on didn't say no onions! So my point here is to be freaking nice to people! You weren't nice to me, my husband, or your fellow employees! The moral of the story is that we all make mistakes, but NONE of us are stupid. None of us need to be treated like you're so annoyed that we were in your presence today. Me coming in to purchase a sandwich is why you have a job. Working with other people is why you have your job as a manager, I presume. BE NICE! If you are a manager, please tell me you're not the owner, I'm highly disappointed you think it's okay to treat...

Very nice staff the sandwiches are great the bread is fresh and they are sweethearts to my kids!! Highly recomended... this was 2 years ago. Last nite we were served cold French dips in a to go order after being the first people in line when we got there and waiting 20 minutes or so for our 4 sandwiches one with just turkey mayo mustard and pickles 6 inch, one with only ham amd bread 6 inch, one french dip with only meat amd cheese 12 inch, and one french dip with light mayo, cheese, and olives 12 inch. Not extremely complicated order. Got home no melted cheese in the sandwiches witch tells me not heated... called to ask what could be done was told to microwave our 58.00 dollar order. Asked to speak to a manager and was told she wasn't there and said I'd call back today to speak with her and was told she wouldn't be there and was hung up on. I drove back to the store, mad as heck, got my money back, and was told the microwaves were broke, then that the sandwiches were cold because I drove them home and that I wasn't hung up on amd to sit down amd calm down... after being hung up on. Called the manager this morning who was there and was told I would be contacted back this afternoon, nobody called nobody apologized no anything. This is unacceptable business practice the old ownership was amazing and would not have let this slide without at least contacting me back. I'm not one to leave negative reviews for no reason as you can see me replacing my 5 star with 1 but this was a horrible experience and I will not give them another...

For how great the food is the customer service is terrible. The ladies have been extremely rude, seemed annoyed, and not helpful. Very disappointed.

I've had two bad experiences here. Once I called for an order a day ahead...came to pick it up as stated and they weren't ready. The young lady behind the counter simply shrugged and said they didn't see the order so we'd have to wait while they made it. When she rang us up she stated our total and then said "and you can tip us too even though we forgot your order haha".

I tried them again this last weekend and ordered over the phone. I asked to feed 15 people she recommended I order 4 24inch sandwiches so I did. She did not tell me my total, which I admit I should reviewed the menu better. I walked in to pick it up and the girls behind the counter simply looked up and ignored me. After a few minutes finally said we'll be with you after so and so. We went to check out and the total was quite a bit more expensive than we expected. I stated how upset I was that the clerk didn't tell us the total over the phone but understood that was also my responsibility .
